Emily was so excited she could hardly contain herself. Dancing and singing along to a random song on her phone as she brushed her hair, perfecting it. She was all ready to go. Simple red bikini with white polka dots already on, exposing the long smooth length of her torso. It was nothing exotic but Emily could make it look like it was.
"You just gotta igniiiiiiite the liiiiiight and leeeeet it shiiiine...JUST OWN THE NIIIIGHT, LIKE THE FOURTH OF JULYYY!!" She screamed off key, with a huge smile on her face, her brush now acting as a useless microphone.
After screaming the rest of the lyrics (badly) Emily ditched her brush on the counter and headed back into her room towards her bed. She jumped on top of the covers, her phone doing a little flip in the air before she caught it, turning down her music.
Travis had texted her:
Travis: Be there soon.
Emily: Ok babe
She responded.Emily's thoughts quickly went to Justin. She wondered if she should call him, make sure he went to the party but that would make it look like she wanted him there. Which she did not! But maybe sending a message wouldn't kill her.
Emily: See you there.
She simply sent to Justin.Without getting a reply a loud honk surprised her back to the present. Travis had just arrived. Emily hopped up quickly from her bed and fetched her purse. Justin's notebook still laid there nice and neat on the dresser, staring up at her. She grabbed it and stuffed it into her purse. She needed to give it back to him anyway, no point in keeping it from him any longer.
Travis was waiting promptly outside by the front of her house, music blasting from his radio. Him and about 3 of his buddies and a couple of their girlfriends were already piled into the packed old blue hatchback. Emily ran up to the car and hopped into the passenger seat in the front, her boyfriend at the wheel. They greeted each other with their usual kiss, her boyfriends' lips tasting strongly of a mixture between alcohol and nicotine. Made sense, considering the empty cans of beer lying around the floor and the lit cigarette Travis held in his hand. Everyone cheered as loud as possible over the music before the car started speeding off. Luckily, the ride was fairly short. The gravel road steadily turning into a narrow dirt path as they got farther away from the main roads. Emily could already hear the loud party music blasting from a stereo somewhere in the distance. Coming into view, tons of cars were parked everywhere in all different directions. The party could only be just beyond.
Travis parked the car amongst all of the others, everyone jumping out, as if they were wild, and racing off towards the direction of the loud music like it was their calling. Emily stayed behind with her boyfriend so they could walk together, taking his hand and lacing their fingers together as they walked towards the party.
Groups and groups of people practically flooded the location. Mostly high school students and the rest adults. They surrounded the vast lake making it look like the perfect party ground. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, just relaxing, drinking beer or swimming in the refreshing water. Girls ran around topless, some even bottomless, free to expose themselves. The atmosphere was party perfect.
Travis kissed Emily goodbye before going off to be with his football buddies. Emily didn't have to be alone long though, she was quickly greeted by her bestfriends Lauren and Yina, who rushed up to her. As promised, Yina wore her cheerful light yellow pushup bikini, small white flowers decorating all over. More noticeable, lauren wore a plain black g-string swimsuit, big boobs just daring to pop out. Emily reciprocate her friends' giant smiles.
"Let me guess? You're getting more attention aren't you Lauren," Emily stated smartly, pointing a finger at the blonde's boobs.
Lauren laughed. "Duh!"
