Chapter 2

The man behind Elle was also running faster than her. Elle's foot was already numb and she could not run faster anymore. The man reached her shoulder and tried to stop her .She resisted, fought back and tripped. When she was about to fall, he caught her. She was shocked and there were few seconds that everything just froze. Their eyes met, she was lying in his arms for awhile, catching breathe and suddenly Elle got hiccups. Then the magical, fantasy, slow motion moment went back to reality.

Elle: Whaaat? It's you. Why did you---😳 me? (Trying to break the awkward moment)😳

Kyle: I was trying to get your attention because you got the wrong medicine. That is mine.😰

Elle: Oh... (Surprised)😯

Kyle: I was not running after you... I was running for my hangover medicines.Thanks to you I think I don't need it anymore, you made me ran and sweat like a pig.😰😒

Elle: who would have thought that this is yours? It's not my fault. (Annoyed)😠

Kyle: It's my fault? I think it's the lady in the stores fault... (Smirking)😑

Elle: of course, it's your fault; if you weren't flirting with them then they could have been focus on their work... Not flirting. (Annoyed)😠

Kyle: I did not. They are the ones... can't believe this. (Laughing)😂👦

Elle: here.... give me what's mine. (Give the medicine. Annoyed)😒

Kyle: Flirting....? AhA! So...you were watching us during that time...back there..? Do you also find me handsome? (Teasing her)😂😃

Elle: Huh!? C'mon. Get lost. Hurry... hurry.... give it to me what's mine. And may this be the first and last time seeing you from now and forever. Got it..! (Annoyed)😒

Kyle: ... You are not from here, right? (Curious)😎

Elle: of course...I am from here. I'll get my medicine, OK! Bye... (Lied)😨

Elle grabbed her medicine from Kyle, bid goodbye and walked faster even if her foot really hurts. (Ouch). Kyle looked at her walked away.

Kyle: Don't be a stranger. I did not get your name by the way... (Shouted)😆...

Elle: I'm not interested! (Shouted back)😤

Elle continued to look for a job again. She applied all the possible stores that she could see in the town. But it seems that she has no luck for any job in town. She was exhausted; unconsciously she reached in the park. She sat down, looked around and confused.😪

Elle: So this is it? Is this the end of the road? I am here again. I am really exhausted.😢

Elle is talking by herself. She talks what's in her mind so loud.

Elle: Maybe this is a sign to give up and just go back. Maybe things are not meant to be. Maybe I should just stop this.... Maybe this is a mistake... I am making my family disappointed.
(Feeling disappointed)😢.

Then suddenly someone just talked back. It was an old man having a nap covered behind a newspaper.

Old Man: Everything has a reason. I think you should not give up. (Smiles)😊

Elle: Oh! (Shocked)😳

Old Man: I was once like you too... (Laugh)😂

Elle: how long have you been here? Did you hear it all? (embarrassed)😳
