With Richie gone, Bill was sure to come around. Ivy was fighting herself. She honestly has feelings for Richie, but she genuinely likes Bill too.
Mike insists it's just her trying to get over Richie, but there's no denying her feelings Bill. You can't fake you're heart racing, or excitement to see someone, or the pure enjoyment of having someone's lips on your own. Ivy knows her feelings are real. As real as Pennywise the clown.
So, to solve things once and for all, she's invited Bill over to discuss things. Maybe he could help her understand their relationship properly.
Nervously, Ivy paces her room. She repeats different sentences of things she might say when Bill shows up. Nothing seems quite right when it leaves her mouth. A knock at her window makes her jump out of her skin. Rushingly, she walks towards the window and shoves it open. Bill climbs in with a smile.
A smile reaches her cheeks as well, and she habitually pulls him into a hug.
"N-Nice to see you too..." Bill grins widely, hugging the girl back. She can hear his heart beating, and she can smell the faint hint of cinnamon. She forgets entirely about the situation she's in. All she knows is that Bill is here, and she's safe. Safe.
After a few minutes of embracement, Bill pulls back a little.
He blushes lightly as he leans down and kisses her softly. She happily returns his gesture, wishing he'd carry it out a bit longer. Ah, but alas, the boy is a bit of tease.
"W-what'd you need t-t-to talk about?" He questions softly, causing the girl to frown both internally and externally. Bill catches onto this and immediately becomes anxious about what she might say next. Ivy, still rather close to him, can hear his heart rate increase. This furthers her guilt.
"I...uh—"
"Is it a-about R-Richie?" Bill cuts in, and Ivy blinks slowly.
"Yes....I-I....he came over last night and—"
"—a-and you like him?" He hums knowingly, feeling his heart break a little at the thought. He can't help but push the girl away a little as he waits for her response.
"No–I mean...yes, but no!" Ivy frustratedly sighs, taking the boy's hands into her own. "I'm so confused right now, Bill. Please help me figure this all out. I'm just a girl—I don't know what to do or how to feel. I like him, yeah, but...I also really like you. I like you so much, I really do."
Bill nods and smiles lightly, "y-yeah, but you love him...."
Ivy frowns lightly, nodding lightly to his words.
"I-It's okay...I knew from the start w-what I was getting m-myself into..." Bill sighs lightly, pulling the girl back into a hug. Ivy stays silent as she hugs back. After a few minutes, the boy pulls back and kisses her once more. His lips are so soft and sweet, she isn't even a little surprised when his tongue slip between her lips.
She knows what this kiss means. It means it's alright. It means that this is their last kiss, and it has to be the best.
And it is.
Ivy almost faints when the Denbrough boy finally pulls away. She feels like she's flying, but she knows it's their last kiss.
"C-Call Richie. I know h-h-he really needs you..." Bill whispers before leaning down and kissing Ivy's cheek. Then, he walks back to her window and climbs out. That's that. Ivy blushes widely, trying to calm her fast beating heart. After a few minutes of calming herself down, she does what Bill instructed.
She calls Richie.
