"You can do it," I continuously cheering her up. "Don't give up!"

"Israel, I think I can't," she replied while tightly holding my hand. "I can't contain the pain anymore."

"No, you can do it," I replied. "Remember what you said the time you had headaches? You said that you can do everything because you have a God-the Mighty God who saved us from pain and darkness."

She didn't replied anything. She just took her breath very deep. A nurse arrived on us. He measured her blood pressure. During that time, all I wanted was everything would be normal.

"Hundred and fifty over a hundred," the nurse said.

"That is too high!" I was stunned from what he said.

"Wait a moment Sir," he replied to me. "I will ask the doctor."

He went out silently from our room. A moment after, a doctor came to us.

"So you are Ms. Katipunan, I am Dr. Torrechiva," she said. "Your OB, Dr. Sy, is not available. She is attending a conference at Davao. Don't worry. I will take care of you until you revover from your delivery. For now, we will hold it for a while until your blood pressure go down. Calm down. Be brave and don't worry."

"I think it will rain," she said to me as we were looking out through the window.

"I think that is an artificial rain," I replied. "They are seeding the the clouds to avoid hot teperatures this month."

And as expected it rained very hard. My mother came nearer to me.

"Son, we brought everything we needed for Al and for the baby but we forgot to bring some food," she said to me. "I want you go home and take all the biscuits and bread, and some of the canned goods. Then buy distilled water at the convinient store near our house. Do you get it?"

"Yes, I do but I will go after the rain stops," I replied.

"Sure."

4:49 Post Meridian

The rain stopped. I rushed out to the main road and took a jeepney ride. A couple of minutes, the jeepney passed through a church, beside a convinient store. I mounted off and run to our house. I took a basket and put all biscuits and bread to it. I opened the cabinets at the kitchen and took some of the canned goods. I took the foods and went to the convinient store. I bought 10 litters of water. Then I took a jeepney going to the hospital. I rushed to the room but all I saw was an empty bed and my mother.

"Where is Al?" I said while cathing my breath.

"She released the amniotic fluid so I called the nurses and they took her to the delivery room," she answered.

I put the basket and water on the table at the corner and went out the room.

"Where are you going?" My mother told me.

"-to the delivery room," I screamed while running away.

"Good," she replied.

5:01

I didn't know if I am excited or nervous but I think it was both. I keep telling myself "have faith." Then I reached two doors with a large sign above, "Delivery Room." I waited all night long infront of the two doors. My feet went numb so I stood up and jump some inches. I streched them to the left to the right. My mother approched me all of a sudden.

"What are you doing here?" she said with a smile.

"Waiting more than six hours here for them," I replied.

"The nurse called me and said that he is in the nursery room."

So we went to the nursery room and I saw a very Inspiring moment. I saw my child through the glass window. All of my fears were gone. We saw Dr. Torrechiva and she approached us.

"Congratulations," she said. "Everything was normal. Al went a small nap. We will send her to your room for a rest. The baby will stay here in the nursery for twenty-four hours so we will be sure that everything will be fine."

"Thank you, Doc," I replied.

I sat down the floor and looked up. My mind went clear that we can still move on.
