"What do you want," said Jade.
"Don't get snippy with me!"
"Sorry. I'm still trying to get used to all this and it's really, really hard." She looked down and I could tell she was holding her tears back.
"I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to yell." I rubbed her arm, trying to comfort her. I did understand how it felt to be the new one. I usually was the new one.
"It's fine. I haven't been the most cooperative person lately." I chuckled.
"So..." I searched my mind for conversation. "What was life like before the train?"
"Just an average teenagers life, y'know? Bands, Music, Art, School?"
"No, I don't know. I don't know... Never mind."
"What were you going to say?"
"Nothing, I rather not talk about it right now."
"Okay. I understand." That's the least she could do right now.
"Thanks." I heard the door start to open. "Fud-"
"Hey there," It was Binny standing there, his mother shoving him in then shutting the door.
"What are you-?"
"I told her I wanted to be in here to interrogate you guys."
"I'm guessing you lied and just came t see liil' ol' me?"
"No." He said stretching out the O.
