Chapter 1: Realisations and Songs
"Hey Taylor," he greeted.
"Hi James," I sighed and rolled my eyes. Of course he's here. Just when I'm trying to write a song for my album. "Do you mind? I'm kinda busy," I say frustrated.
His eyes raked over my body finally stopping at my hands.
"Oh,"
"Yes, oh, now just kindly fuck off," I said bluntly.
"Someone's feisty today. I like it."
I sigh and turn back to my work. Ignoring him.
Suddenly, a loud vibrating sound goes off on the desk. I jump and glare at James.
He quickly picks up his phone and presses the red decline button. But he wasn't fast enough, I saw the contact. Kaitlin.
I gasp.
He snaps his head up and stares into my eyes. He turns his phone off and gets up.
"See you later, beautiful," he winks and shuts the door after flirting.
I let out a sound of frustration. I should have known he was one of those guys. Why did he hang around if he had girlfriend? Why did he flirt and look at me like that if he had a girl at home?
I eyes widened and I inhaled.
I picked up the pen and started scribbling down the lyrics.
'Don't look at me
You've got a girl at home
And everybody knows that
I see you turn off your phone
And now you've got me alone'
Did he seriously think he could cheat on her with me?
He is wrong.
So wrong.
And I was going to prove that.
