Aarmau - Two Dimensions

Aphmau's Answer

This is about five and a half months after Shad mistook Aphmau for Irene. He's been without his fragment the entire time. Emmalyn and Kenmur are dead. The rest of the plot is from MCD. If you've kept up with the lore. Most of this is fake and branched off from a idea I had.

Aph's POV

I just heard a loud bang come from the Yggdrasil tree in Phoenix Drop! I hope everyone's okay... Her thoughts dawdled behind her as she sprinted to the town square plaza. Aaron. The real Aaron is laying there in the middle of town. he looks completely drained and is curled up, shivering as if he's going to be hit. Abusively.

  "A-Aaron?!" I half screamed, half asked him. He unfurled to show me those beautiful eyes I fell in love with so long ago. He looked up at me with his midnight eyes and they were glistening with tears.

  "Aphmau...?" He mumbled my real name. Not 'Irene". It has to be him and I knew it was him.

  "AARON! KATELYN! TRAVIS! ANYONE!" I yelled out for my friends, who came running at my screams. 

Aaron's POV

  "APHMAU!" They all yelled when they got to us. Katelyn recovered from the shock first.

  "Aph, Who's that?" She asked me, blunt as ever. I attempted to speak, but my busted lips only let me gurgle noise.

  "Keep your strength, Aaron." Aph mumbled to me. The others jaws dropped further, If that was even possible.

  "AARON?" They yelled in unison. The rest of my friends came. Zoey came with blue orbs around Alina and Lilith. Kawaii~Chan came with some of her maids to start healing me. How did she instill healing magicks into them?  As I wondered to myself my busted lips were healed, as were my broken limbs and thrown out back.

Aph's POV

  "Aaron?" I asked him timidly, since I couldn't see his forehead and hadn't looked when he glanced at me, I couldn't tell if it was Shad or not. "Aaron, is that you? Look at me. I know you can." I coaxed and encouraged, that's the tactic that always worked on Aaron, the real one. He slowly raises his head, with a lot of scars from the sudden healing magicks. "Aaron..." I know it's him. The shade he would have on his forehead if Shad were there is gone, hopefully for good.

  "A-Aphmau?" He questions if I'm even here. Wait, there is one way. Aph thought to herself.

  "Aaron, what did you take from my pocket at the Alliance Island?" Aaron looked down in shame and embarrassment.

  "I-I took the Divine Fragment from you, so I could get Garroth out of the Irene Dimension with Zane's amulet that was inside." Aaron mumbled this to the ground. Aphmau's face and eyes softened as she turned to her friends.

  "It's him. Only the real Aaron would know that. When he took the fragment..." Aph trailed off, but caught herself and continued her sentence. "I was devastated. I couldn't think straight. Aaron." She turned to face him. "You can ask ANY of these people right here, right now." She gestured to the group surrounding her. "If I was devastated or not when you died, go ahead." Tears glossed Aph's eyes as she turned away. Aaron did as he was told.

  "Was she really-?" Zoey cut him off.

  "Aaron, Aphmau was devastated. I can't think of a way better to describe her state back then." Zoey turned to the group. "Don't you guys agree?" One by one, as they considered it, began to nod their heads. Garroth spoke to prove the point.

  "Aaron, when she saw me with your bandana that night, she slowly took it from my hands, her bottom lip quivering. When the truth started to sink in, she released a blood curdling scream. It wasn't to our knowledge right then that that was the last sound she would make for the next 2 weeks. When she finally started to explore the island again, a imp appeared in your image. At first she was speechless, overwhelmed with joy, then she realized you weren't speaking to her, and she didn't see a soul in your eyes. She killed it and holed up in her old house again for weeks without talking, eating, or sleeping. That's when she found the letter you left in your bandana. She started sleeping again, eating, and best of all, smiling." Silent tears were falling down the gang's face as they remembered the HORRID demon warlock and the imp.

  "I-I-I did that to her?" Aaron couldn't, wouldn't believe it. "No, she didn't lo-" Aaron caught himself before he said 'love'. "Like me that much. Did she?"

  "Aaron, you know that I love you more than anything I could ever earn, be gifted, or EVER have. Right?" Aphmau was shaking uncontrollably, having noticed he nearly said love in his sentence. "Aaron, I love you more than Irene and Shad's daughter." By now Zoey had removed the protective blue forcefield from Alina and Lilith.

  "DADDY!" Lilith cried out running toward him to engulf him in a bear hug with Alina following suit.

  "Oof! Thank you, Lilith. Alina, you're just as pretty as your mom, maybe prettier." Aph's annoyance was evident. She ended up smiling nonetheless.

  "HEY!" She started to laugh, "You know, I missed you Aaron. I believed Shad was you when we fought in the forest because I NEEDED to, I was afraid that if I didn't... You would never come back." She began to cry and the group backed away from Aaron knowing he was the best person to be with her right then.

  "Aph... C'mon look at me." Aph looked up and was greeted by a kiss. She was shocked, but melted into it. Kawaii~Chan lost it and began to squeal as if she was trying to summon dogs through a dog whistle for speaking. Katelyn saw her and yelled. 

  "Quick! Hands on your ears! Kawaii~Chan explosion in 3... 2... 1!" Aaron and Aph were completely unfazed by screams. Aph noticed squealing and whispered in Aaron's ear.

  "Want to make her REALLY explode?" Mischief rekindling the spark in her eyes. He nodded and whispered back.

  "Let's do this." I've been wanting to do this, now is my chance. He got down on one knee and told Aph with all his compassion. "Aph, I never want to lose you again. Will you... marry me?" He pulled out a ring made with stolen materials from Shad while he was escaping the Nether. Kawaii~Chan's maids took her home to rest after she'd squealed so hard, she'd fainted.

  "A-Aaron..." Aphmau trailed off into thought. Everyone in suspense for her answer, but slowly backing away to give them space and time on their own.

I'm sorry for not posting here my sweet kittens. BUT I'm leaving a cliffhanger! Which ensures there will be more! This'll probably be the longest chapter out of the whole book.
