Chapter 2.

Later that week I was on the recording constantly. By the end of the week i was in my car driving to the gym when I heard one of my songs on the radio. Stand out. I was listening to and singing to it when a star that runs stations voice came over the speaker.

Wow, that's right folks you just heard stand out by Miss Loren Tate, she has real talent now we know I like her, but lets see what's you guys have to say of her.

Caller#1: Loren Tate is amazing her voice is like angels I cant wait for more from her.

Caller2: Loren is spectacular, plus she's a,senior in high school, she's on the right track for stardom.

I was sitting there staring at the radio in my car, I couldn't believe they were playing my song. And then all the positive comments I was getting back. I was then experiencing,a whole bunch of different emotions, but the most compelling one told me that I should call the radio station and see what's happens and that was exactly,what I did.

(Loren and D.Js convo)

DJ: wassup caller number 4? What's your name and what do you have to say about our future pop princess?

Loren: well I'm loren Tate as you may already know. I just called because I was shocked to hear my song and then,to,get all those positive,comments from the people listening to it.

DJ: (shocked): wait? This the Loren Tate? Wow I just want to say you are and amazing singer and,I love your songs, especially the song "Stand Out".

Loren: Thank you. That means alot.

DJ: oh Loren? If you,have a few minutes some of the callers would like to,ask you some questions.

Loren: Umm.... Sure I have,a few minutes to spare.

DJ: great. Ok caller number 14.what do you want to say to miss.tate.

Caller 14: wow I cant believe in,talking,to,the Loren Tate. Loren I'm,a,big big fan. I guess I was wondering why you,choose to go into the music business. I mean sure while you were in high school had other plans like a dream college. How did you manage to go from one high school dream. To a fantasies dream which is now a reality for,you?

Lo: well you are right in high school I always focuses my attention on getting into my dream college Brown I wanted to become a lawyer. But when I got my acceptance letter I had also got some offers with major record labels, so it was hard to decide but I had a lot of friends and family there to help narrow the choice down. So I talked to one of the administers at brown,they told me since it was full scholarship I could attend when ever I was ready. So here I am becoming as you fans say Hollywood's newest pop princess.

Caller14: wow thank you,so much for answering my question. But I have one more before I turn you loose to your fabulous life.

Lo: oh my love life isn't fabulous but go ahead.

Caller14: ok is there a special some in your life who helps motivate and inspire you?

Lo(stutters): yea there is we' be been friends for awhile and he's really sweet. You'll be seeing alot of him in the future. Oh and for you curious fans out there, the special person in my life isn't Damian Williams. We are great at friends we grew up together.

Caller14: I have to go thank you so much Loren.

DJ: well there you,have it folks that was out pop princess Loren Tate and until next time. Peace.

Back in the car with Loren.

Wow I cant believe what just happened. This is amazing. They really think of me as there pop princess. Wow. Is all I can say, lets hope Jake and Kelly feel the same way and don't get mad about me doing an unannounced interview. I was deep into though thinking about what had happened when my phone rang with the ring tone of a little something I like to call the: Jake alarm.

Lo: speak of the devils.

(phone convo between Jake and Loren.)

Lo: Hello?

Jake: Loren? Its Jake you mind telling me what you were just doing on the radio answering questions?

Lo: I was doing,just that "answering questions". Alright please don't get mad I as just kinda shocked to here the song on,the radio so soon and then,when people started calling in and talking about me I just couldn't help myself.

Jake: whoa, I'm not mad you were fantastic. For your first interview. You,didnt go all crazy. But anyway I'm need you to come,stop by the office.

lo: ok, i'll be there in a few im stuck in this awful L.A. traffic we have, so ill see you ina 10 minutes. bye.

After i got off the phone with Jake, the traffic seemed to clear up. As i was pulling into the parking gargae of Jake's buliding Eddie called me. I knew it was him because for his calle the ringtone id " Something in the Air".                                                                                                              

lo: Hello?

Eddie: hey lo! its Eddie.

lo: oh hey watts up?

Eddie: Ian called and he and Melissa have a doctors appointment again today and they need us to come over.S omething about them getting a pet, and needing help naming it and they need us to house sit while there at the doctors(sighs)

lo: ok, well im with Jake right now, so i'll see you over there when i'm done.

Eddie:ok! See you there. bye babe.

Lo:(blushes): bye handsome.

                                                          *Jake's Office*

i walked and and said hey to Jake's recptionist and he told me to gone back. i walked into Jake's office and he was on the phone and he told me to have a seat and he'll be done in a minute.

Jake: ok loren, im glad your here.

LO: Where else would i be?

Jake: Anyway i called you here so we could talk the label wants 6 news songs by the beginning of next month and they said since you are the new and fabolous Pop Princess Loren Tate, there going to give you 2 weeks off to get the inspiration jucies flowing.

Lo:Really? 2 weeks, i cant do that and since there being nice i'll throw in to extra songs and i'll make on off them a duet.

Jake: thats even better. Wait? Who would you or do you want to do a duet with?

Lo: Eddie.

Jake: Are you sure i thought that you two didnt really get along.

Lo: no its fine we've actually been nicer to each other what with our best friends having a baby together.

Jake: well. ok then i call eddie and let him know. but thats all you can go home and enjoy your time off.

Lo: ok thanks, bye jake.

                                                           *Melissa and Ian's place*

i got to mels house and i could see that everybody was there on time and i was late as usual. i jumped out of my car and ran to the door but i didnt even havea chance to knock on the door, because as som=on as i got there the door flew open with none other that the pregnant melissa behing the door grinning.

Mel: lo finally your here. But you took so long so we have to leave we'll talk to you two whrn we come back.

LO: ok bye.

Ian; dont kill each other.

Eddie:(smirks): oh we wont.

And with that they leave and iots just me and Eddie in this house. As soon as they close the door i turn to look it and before io can turn around, Eddie pins me to there door and crushes his lips on mine. I was surprised but I gladly accepted and returened the kiss. After about and 10 minute make out sessoin i pull away. breathless.

Lo:What was that for?

Eddie: Cant a guy kiss his amazing girlfriend?
