3rd Person POV:
Daniel stuffed the notes in his backpack, running home to read it. He hated to admit it, but he felt bad, no, terrible for what he did to Valerie. He was just in so much pain. Nothing was the same when his brother committed suicide in elementary school.
He ripped his backpack open, reading the notes one after another. The tears flowed freely down his face, as he read her notes. When he made his notes, she made hers, and it broke his heart. His entire being was shredded as he saw he go from a strong girl, to self conscious, to self hating, to self harming.
Realization shook him, as he realized what she as going to do. He couldn't loose his best friend like he lost his brother. Where could she be though?
Daniel POV:
The rapids. It's where everyone goes... It is a river, with extremely strong currents, fatal currents. There is a rickety bridge above it, if they don't jump, they'll probably fall. I need to find her! And soon!
