●●Prologue○○

It was dark. I don't know where am I or how I ended up here. The sky is black. Is it because it was about to rain or it was night already. But I can't feel any drop of water touching my skin nor am I shivering for the coldness. Am I already dead? That's all I can think about.

From the corner of my eyes,I spotted two figure,not far from where I am standing. I know that I'm stupid because of the curiosity. Well curiosity kill a cat they say.  Slowly yet, steadily I walked to them.

I can hear them bickering about something.

"Give me the DAMN BABY Emma!!" A tall figure said. I can detect that it is a man's voice from the rough and much deeper voice.

"If you gave us the baby we'll make sure to plead your forgiveness from the King and your punishment will be discard".

"NO!!" The woman that I guess is Emma yelled. I can see that there is something around her arms and she seems like she is protecting the 'something' from them.

"I'll not give you my baby, when I know what you...and them will do to my baby girl!" Emma backed away.

"I love you,Emma. And I always will. I don't want you to die because of that...bastard's child. Hand me the baby Emma. I promise to protect you," the guy approached her slowly.

"I'm sorry Johnny--" So that man's name is Johnny.

"But my heart is always for Eden. No matter what he is, I love him with all my heart," Emma looked at the baby deeply . There's so much love in her eyes.

"She is the proof of our love. I'll NOT and NEVER WILL hand her over to you or to them. If you want her, you have to cross my cool dead body Johnny," she said sternly.

Even with that stern voice stucked in her voice cord, I know that Emma is slowly producing a clear drop of water. One by one, her teardrops streamed down to her cheek like a waterfall. I walk closer to them. They didn't seem to noticed me nor my presence.

"I love you Emma. But I need to fulfilled my orders. I'll take her and you Emma" Johnny paused and looked deeply at her dark brown orbs. "But if you continue refused to accept me than I've no other choice. Then I'll make sure no one WILL!!".

Johnny pulled something from his back pocket...It's a gun!

He then pointed the gun directly to Emma.

"Hey, stop it!!" I yelled and ran to their direction. For some reason I've this...feeling that make me want to protect her for any harm.

I tried to push Johnny away from Emma, but something unexpected happened. Which...I run right through him.

"What the-" I mumbled to myself and see the scene laid in front of me. Am I already dead?

"What are you trying to do Johnny?" Emma asked eventhough she knew exactly what Johnny will do.

"If I can't have you...then I've no use of you. I'll kill you with my own hand right here, right now. So give me the fucking baby!" Johnny tilted his head to the side, "Just remember my love, I'll always love you with all my heart" His words are full of sorrow. If he didn't want to that...then what make him do that?

I know I can't do anything, but....I must help Emma.

But why do I need to that that? Who is she to me? I don't even know her but...deep inside my heart, I think she is important to me and...I know her like forever.

The sound of the gun clicking brought me back from my thoughts.

"Please Johnny...you don't have to do this. I'm not your mate, so I don't deserve your love" Emma backed away slowly.

Johnny gripped his brown locks "NO!! I'M YOUR MATE!! NOT EDEN!! HE USED SOMETHING TO MAKE YOU THINK THAT HE IS YOUR MATE!! I'M YOUR MATE!! YOUR TRUE MATE!!" He screamed on top of his lungs. Wow, this guy is pretty crazy.

"No, Eden is my mate. My one true mate and I'll keep it that way until the day of my last breath" Emma hugged the baby with tears streaming down following the misery heavy rain.

Johnny was silent as he look at Emma, "If that's your decision, then goodbye my love" he said with an emotionless mask put on. The gun is still pointing directly on Emma.

"Goodbye baby girl, I'm sorry that your father and I can't live with you like a happy family. I'm sorry," tears rolled down from the corner of her eyes. She kissed the baby forehead before whispering, "You just need to know that your father and I always love you and always watching you wherever you are".

Bang!

Emma's body collapsed weakly on the damp ground as the water droplet rain down on her.

"NO!!" I run to Emma, but only to see red liquids pooling under her feet.

"I love you,baby girl" that was the last thing that I heard before being dragged into the darkness.
