Here's a quick disclaimer okay. Some of this is historically accurate but some of it is according to the musical, and is essential for the story line. Thanks, and enjoy!

The Schuyler's garden was iced and beautiful snow lightly draped all the plants. It was 1777, a winters ball and The Schuyler sisters were everyone's token. The beauties were all single and well mannered, but most importantly, to some at least, rich. Mr. Schuyler was very profitable off his job as a General. Highest of his ranking, until he was forced to step down; the everlasting effects of Sarasota Campaign and the loss it put for the Rebels. Colonel Hamilton, however, at the Schuyler Mansion, if not everyman was, the Ball. Hosted by none other than Mrs. Schuyler, for what seemed to marry of her daughters to a rich Colonel. Although Hamilton thoughts may wonder to marrying a Schuyler, it was very unlikely. He was a poor, immigrant, orphan, and deemed a bastard. Nevertheless, they were here, at the Schuyler Mansion, ready for a night at the elegant place. The eldest Schuyler's were Elizabeth Schuyler, Angelica Schuyler, and Margarita Peggy Schuyler. Each Schuyler had a perfectly charming and handsome trait about their person. Angelica, the eldest, sassy, witty, flirtatious, a bold character and convincing at that matter. Elizabeth, also known as Eliza, was the second eldest, she was social, modest, loving, and seemed willing to defend anyone. Then came Margarita, or "Peggy", the youngest in the trio of the Schuyler Sisters. Peggy was "animated and striking" features; as a young woman, she was "lively" and "the favorite of dinner-tables and balls" and, in later in life, was "bright, high-spirited [and] generous." Every man wanted the Schuyler sisters for themselves. Most of them, that is. The minority was always forgotten, one gentleman did not wish for the Schuyler sisters each night as he rested on his pillow. John Laurens, Revolutionary and Colonel, only wanted one thing. Due to battles and such, he was unable to attend the Ball. Laurens dearly missed his best friend, Alexander Hamilton. He deeply cursed British troops for coming to South Carolina, forcing him to go to his home state instead of the desired Ball. Of course, Alexander Hamilton was coming, and surely, he would want a Schuyler to court himself. But, alas their where only three, no more no less. So why should Laurens take so much interest in them? There was so many other people in the world, in there new country. Of course, like any sensible man, he knew who his heart belonged to.
Alexander Hamilton. (A/N: I didnt need italics anyway)
