"so when do you think you're going to see jack next?" my manager asked. we were on our way home since we decided i wasn't going to stay with everyone else.
"i don't know honestly , i mean it's not like my aunt is going to let me see him. she hates fame" i said playing with the ends of my hair
"but doesn't she know about your fame?" he asked
"i - yeah , but she only took me in for the money" i sighed

"wow. what about your mom?" he asked
"well i haven't seen her since i went to see my friends , she hasn't tried to contact me or anything. it's like she... forgot about me" i said looking down
"she didn't forget about you, you're her daughter she could never forget about you" he said rubbing my back
"yeah i guess , b-but my mom's different , she was never nice to me until i asked to move in with my friends" i said
"well she has lost something super important in this world" he said making me smile.
"you should get some rest we're going to be in the car for a while" he said.
i turned towards the window and curled up as i took the blanket i had found on the floor earlier.
