After the war

Carrie

On July 12th 2075, Carrietta took a 7 month maternity leave from Spectrum as she was 3 months pregnant.
Several months later, Carrie birthed a beautiful baby boy that she and Phil named Joseph Paul Machin. He was named for Phil's former roommate Joseph Johnson who was blown up in a minefield accident 2 days before he graduated and, of course, Captain Scarlet.

Carrie never saw her mother again but she didn't let her past define her in any way. She did keep in close contact with all of the colour captains, particularly Captain Scarlet. When he and Rhapsody angel got married, Carrie was one of Rhapsody's bridesmaids. Surprisingly, Carrie got along well with her father in law, General Ward and he was a regular visitor to their family home on the Isle of White. 

The only time Carrie wore her Spectrum uniform was when she attended reunion parties and twice while attending the funerals of both Conrad Turner and Colonel White.
