A loud rupturing noise came from atop of the roof, and that was loud enough to awaken you.

Meaning it must've been REALLY loud.

"What the fuck.."

You rubbed your head, still tired from what happened earlier.
Running for what felt like millions of miles, only being a 10 minute walk.

As you can see, running wasn't your thing.
Sports in general are a nightmare.

Anyway

'What the hell was that noise?'

You get out of bed slowly, trying not to make any noise, but your clumsy ass just had to trip on one of the shoes.

Instead of trying to find the source of the noise, IT seemed to be coming from you.

But before you could come near the cryptic noise, there was knocking in the door that caused you to jump.

You were in your fighting stance, ready to attack anything in sight, only to find out it was a classmate.

"Y/n, open the door!"

Oh.. totally forgot.

There was a project due later on the month, and you and your classmate Steven were assigned to work on a topic about...fear.

Ironic, isn't it?

A month seems like a long time, but with the amount of work that there is into making it an A+ assignment would require time and effort.

You roll your eyes, and walk toward the door.

"hey.."

"hey y/n, don't tell me you forgot about the project" he chuckled lightly, his dimples clearly visible.

He noticed the tension in you, and looked concerned.

"Are you okay? Did anything happen?"

You ponder whether telling him the truth or not.

What if it was all just a bad nightmare..?

Perhaps.

After a few seconds of thinking about it, you convinced yourself it was all just a bad dream.

"y/n.. everything okay?"

His voice startled you, causing you to snap back into reality.

"My bad, I've been feeling very tired lately." you shyly answered.

Lies.

He nodded, and gave you a warm smile.

"If you want, we can work on this another time."

He was so sweet and understanding, and here you are, lying to such a humble guy.

"No, no. If we keep postponing, we will never finish this. Besides, I got a bit of energy left on me."

He wasn't sure whether to go or not, but agreed.
