"Sam...?" Said Jack as he entered the brunettes bedroom.

"Hey, Jack." He replied without loosing the thread of his reading.

Jack walked in and sat on a chair in front of Sam without saying a word, which made the oldest one give him a glance.

"Is there anything wrong?" He asked after noticing the kid's odd behavior.

"I don't know" said the blonde confused. "I think I catched the flu, but I don't feel how I usually feel when I have it"

"Then how do you feel?" The oldest one said and closed his book, giving Jack all of his attention.

"It's a weird feeling... my stomach tickles and my heart beats fast, also I get nervous and my face turns red." He said, playing with the buttons on his jacket.

Sam laughed, he knew exactly what was going on.

"And... is that feeling annoying you?" He asked still smiling.

"No, it's just that I never felt this way before... not until I met the girl from candyland." He said imitating Sam's smile.

"You mean the girl from the convenience store?"

Jack nodded.

"Well, the thing is that you like the girl from the convenience store... just the way you like nougat." Sam explained. "When you like nougats you want to eat them all the time. The same happens when you like someone, you want to expend time with them and get to know them, so in the future you can form a relationship together."

"Sam, I can't eat her. She is a person." Said Jack outraged.

"Jack, that's not what I meant."
