Chapter five

*later that night

"Okay so it's your birthday in three days, what do you want to do?" Darcy said sitting down on my bed

"I was thinking about having a really big party and inviting everyone because my dad is not going to be here so we can do what ever we won't" Layla said happily

"okay, I will message everyone, what day do you want it?" Darcy said

"Saturday night" Layla say to Darcy

"Darcy text everyone and I don't care who comes" Layla says sitting down

"Okay, are you getting custody with your little sister?" Darcy says

"Probably. My dad is not a really good father so I might get custody" Layla says laying down on her bed

"That's good" Darcy says and she lays down and turns off the lamp and slowly drifts of to sleep.

*Saturday night

"Darcy did you get the beer" Layla yells over everyone singing and dancing

"Yes it's in the back" Darcy says back and starts to dance again

Layla walks through the large crowd of people and heads to the back shed where all the beer is kept and when she gets there she turns around to see a man looks like he is older but he is very cute with his blond hair and his blue eyes.

"Heey I'm Layla" she says to the man

" ohh Heey I'm jax teller" he says turning around

"Isn't it your birthday" jax says smiling

"Yes it is" she says bending down to get a beer

" so how old are you turning" he says

"18" Layla says taking the cap of the beer

" do you want to sit down and talk" Layla says to jax

"Yes I do" jax says sitting down on a chair

2 hours past and Layla and Jax are still talking when they here everyone yelling happy birthday to Layla

" I got to go but I will see you or I will text you or something" she says standing up

" okay" he says standing up and kissing her cheek and whispering happy birthday

She smiles and walks away to the crowd of people saying happy birthday to her.
