Barry's POV
I feel like me and Caitlin are just.....drifting apart since I came back 1 month ago. Maybe im pushing her away too. I don't know? I do like my school, I did miss it all my friends and all but I can't focus knowing that Caitlin's pushing me away and I don't know why. I'll try talking to her later today maybe. "Oliver did we have homework?" I ask over the phone. "I think we had reading and math due today but I think that's it," He says as I can hear him shuffling through his backpack. "Oh okay thanks, Oliver!" I say getting out my backpack making sure I have those things done. "Alright bye Barry," He says before he hangs up disconnecting the call. "Let's see," I say talking to myself as I start unzipping the zipper to my backpack. As I look in there I grab my red folder that has all my important stuff in it and opens it and see my homework there unfinished. "Im sorry mom but this is an emergency," I said whispering to myself. I grab a sharpened pencil and go to my desk with my homework and use my speed to finish. "And that only took....3 seconds," I say to myself proudly knowing that if I didn't use my speed I would've finished my homework in 3 hours instead of 3 seconds. Now that I did my homework I could get to school early and im pretty sure Caitlin would be starting to walk home about.....I open my blinds and see Caitlin closing her door with her backpack on and her folder in crystal folder in her left hand. I run out of my house red folder and backpack in hand. "Hey Snow!" I say out of breath. "Oh hi, Barry," She says waving her hand. "So I was wondering if you wanted to talk after school at the field....because I feel like we've been I don't know...like drifting apart and not being honest with each other. "Yeah we should," She says lowering her head. "But until then let's enjoy the school day shall we?" I say handing out my hand as she takes it we walk hand in hand to school. "Yes, we shall!" She says looking at me into my eyes. I do like her but I have to admit when we just look at each other's eyes it gets awkward....a little bit anyway.
*Ring* The school bell went off through the speakers that go through the whole school. "Okay class make sure you get your writing homework done!" Our teacher says getting up to start dismissing the tables that are the quietest.
Once we were all out the door I walked over to Caitlin who was currently talking to Felicity her friend and mine. "Hey Snow!" I say walking over to them. "Hi, Barry!" They both say at the same time before Felicity comes to give me a hug. She's been giving me hugs since I got back. To be honest it kinda makes me feel good. "So... Let's go?" I say handing her my hand as she takes it. "Yup," She says popping the p.
When we get to the field we sit in the benches. "So I think we both know that we both are hiding something so I think she should tell each other?" I say fumbling with my fingers. "Okay... I'll go first," She says sighing. "I have powers!" She says looking up. "I... Er... What kind?" I ask shocked. She doesn't say anything she just gets up and... And starts creating so much ice it's like a ice skating rink in the field. "The cold kind," she says smiling. "Oh!" I say shocked. "what did you have to tell me?" She says sitting back down. "This," I say getting up and using my super speed to run around the field and go to Coast City and get Pizza. "Woah!" She says smiling and clapping. "So we both have powers?" She asks. "Guess so!" I say smiling a super huge smile. "Cool!" She says before she hugs me. "Yeah!" I say hugging back. Maybe she does like me?
