"Hyung!" Kwangmin exclaimed with a smile, flopping onto his older brother's bed.
Youngmin felt as if he were going to melt under the full force of his younger twin's puppy-like excitement. Kwangmin's smile should be labeled a weapon, Youngmin thought, looking away and squinting at the window, trying to blink the sleep out of his eyes. Just one smile could make even the most hardened criminals want to coo over him and his... puppy-ness, Youngmin thought, his half-asleep brain tripping over itself in its haste to find a word to describe Kwangmin's powers over...what was he thinking about again? It's too early for thinking.
Outside, the sky was dark, storm clouds heavy with the rain they were going to dump onto unsuspecting couples' heads. Honestly, out of all the days, Valentine's day was the one day the clouds chose to rain on. Judging from the color of the sky and the rumbles of thunder, it was going to be one of those days where you stayed inside for fear of getting hit by lightning. Youngmin then turned his attention back to Kwangmin, who was perched on the edge of the bed, still dressed in his pajamas. His hair was sleep-ruffled in the most adorable way, and Youngmin wondered if Kwangmin would bite his hand if he tried to mess it up more.
"What time is it?" Youngmin asked, face half mushed against his fluffy pillow.
"It's 7AM now!" Kwangmin replied brightly, bouncing a bit, making the mattress dip. Youngmin's eyes widened out of sheer terror.
"How are you even awake at this time of day?" Youngmin asked, stiffling a yawn. He didn't know that such a feat was even possible, but Kwangmin's smile got brighter.
"Because it's Valentine's day! I want to spend it with you... I mean, if you want..." Kwangmin said, bright grin slipping off his face as he looked down shyly, starting to fidget.
"Don't be stupid, of course I want to spend it with you." Youngmin said. He then emphasized his declaration by lifting his head off his pillow willingly before 10AM and propping himself up on an elbow. Understanding the significance of Youngmin's act, Kwangmin brightened up again.
"It is a bit too early for me to be up though." Youngmin added, feeling guilty when his twin deflated.
"It's really rainy outside, and we don't have the heater on. Aren't you cold?" Youngmin asked. Kwangmin shrugged.
"Nope." Kwangmin replied, sticking out his tongue. "I am much more active than you are, so I'm not cold."
Youngmin grinned lazily. "Staying in bed is infinitely more comfortable though... join me?"
"How can a boy say no to that offer?"Kwangmin said fluttering his eyelashes at his older twin jokingly. Said older twin was currently holding his blankets up invitingly.
"Well get in so I can stop letting the cold air in." Youngmin ordered.
Kwangmin did as he was told, and Youngmin immediately plastered himself against Kwangmin's back, wrapping his arms around the other male's waist. Surrounded by fluffy white blankets and of course, his twin, Kwangmin fell back asleep quickly. But before he fell asleep, he felt a light kiss against the nape of his neck and a low murmur.
"Happy Valentine's day, Kwangmin. Love you."
