on october ninth, with rain pouring down on a small city, thunder blasting through valleys and over hills, greyhound bus #3209 crashed into a large silver gate. the latch broke, and the gate swung open. all was silent, and nothing moved. If you looked close enough, you could see the terrified faces of the many passengers, crowded in the windows. you could still not hear a thing; it was as if time was frozen.

Suddenly, screams of terror filled the air around the bus as something pulled it inch by inch into the gate. a great roar blasted throughout the area, and the gate swung shut. a loud sound of metal tearing apart tore through the sudden silence, and minuted later, faces could be seen through the bars of the gate. mouths gaping open, and drenched with rain and blood, adults and children one by one were pulled from the gate in rapid concession. no one saw, exept the lone surviver, who somehow had managed to get out of the giant deathtrap.

on october tenth, a boy of about 12 years old was rushed to the emergency room at hsa hospital. he had a broken nose, and a cut that went from his forearm to his shoulder. he was identified as casey thompson.he was the only surviver of a grade 6 bus crash that had happened just the day before. the bus had been carrying parents, teachers, and all the grade 6 students from Loneside elementary. the bus had crashed, but the one thing the rescue team was wondering about was how a grade 6 class and the bus carrying them could dissapear in less than 1 hour!

After being released from the hospital, casey went to his room to mourn all his friends and teachers. beginning to feel faint, he opened his bedroom window and looked out. Something grabbed his arm, and then covered his mouth.he was dragged off into the night, not able to do anything to help himself. he knew what was happening, and he didn't like it one bit. the creature came back for him.they reached the gate, and it swung open. the creature leaned in for the kill, and the world went black.

Casey hadn't died, he had just passed out. the creature had left, so, in his mind, casey assumed it had been scared away, maybe by a car. one thing casey new for sure, though, was that the creature was coming back.
