I DIE BEFORE MY DEATH

Have I genuinely live my life before?
I look up and my heart is saying
In any ordinary day like today
Souls were given the chance to live
Myself included
With the same purpose
To embrace everything
What life has to offer

Sounds cliché, I know

When did it start
Turning crayons into inks
Blue sky into rainy days
It is indeed tiring my soul
I pause in awe
As it looks back at me
I look long in the abyss
Did time stop as
I clutch and
fight my demons
I became one as I
Suck everything beautiful
Hurting every moment
Looking at my other self
I stare in the mirror
Dark and twisted is how

I DIE BEFORE MY DEATH.

Halloween or "hallowed evening" is the time of the year when the walls between worlds are thin and spirits could pass through easily into our realm.
