Prologue: The End

In this World where everything is set upon by the desire of the World, itself...I face the consequences of my actions as the character set in this world. A story where happy endings are unreachable for me... For I am the Villainess Noble girl and I shall face straight on whatever absurdities the world throws at me.

Wearing old tattered clothes, unruly hair, dark shadows looming--the visage of the once called as the noblest girl in the country can no longer be seen as I walk my way through the gallows of my death. The bystanders around me, from the common folk, to the nobility who is very much eager to watch the death of the Prime Minister's prized daughter, as well as the people who I once considered as friends, my younger step-brother and my... formerfiancee all standing beside her, the girl that is loved by the World... The heroine.

For one last time, I scoffed at them. All these people who stole everything to me, my parents, my family, my friends, my pride...what else will they rob me off?

Not too fast and not too slow, I walked my way towards my end. Knowing, that I'll die in a few more minutes. I am reminded of that one person who truly cared for me, my most important...

"Stop your dilly-dallying! Hurry and put her in" One of the guards spoke as he tugs my chain forcefully, in spite of the inhumane treatment for someone who's about to be beheaded, not an ounce of pity was present..instead, the jeers and disdain looks from all around is something I find fascinating, truly fascinating. 

Truly, foolish.

As what you'd expect from the playthings of the World. Unable to take it anymore of this farce, I closed my eyes.

"Well then do you have any last words!!"

Last words? How laughable

Slowly, I opened my eyes. A few moments seem to have passed and everyone present in this farce seems to have quietened down. How fitting and absolutely cliche, I honestly thought... well, I guess this is better.

I do, in fact, enjoy some peace and quiet, I might as well consider this as some sort of wonderful consolation prize that I could enjoy such  luxury amidst this farce and so I smiled, for the first time since then...the dreadful feeling amongst the fools seems to be gone but nonetheless the World will not permit for this farce to stop in this way. They'd never let me have even an ounce of my pride and dignity as a noble. 

Why?

Simply, Because that is not the 'setting' that the World wants.

So just for a little bit of enjoyment, my last words...this Villainess Noble Girl's last words seem to be needed for the finale, in order for the story to officially end and for the female lead to finally attain the sweetest epilogue.

Aaah~what to do? There are so many things I want to say but, I can only say one thing huh. How troublesome. The World and this setting. Sigh....

"Any LAST WORDS" Another prompt, from the world, huh.... tch. 

Can't they at least give me some time to think it through? It's MY last words!! I, at least want to exit this stage with a bang!! 

 Oh well. I guess it's better to hurry and end this farce and so I resigned to my fate...

"I, Cordelia Arshlynne von Loubelle...with my head held high and with the heavens as my witness, from the very bottom of my heart rejects this WORLD even in death"

....are my last words.

Thus the end of this Villainess Noble girl's story....
