It's harder to stay out of the spotlight than one would think. Just ask Meg, who thought one measly trip to the grocery store to keep her human vessel alive would cause no harm. Well, she did walk right past the cashier and through the front door without paying. Why that would concern demons or angels, Meg had no clue.
There they were, just waiting for her. A gang of angels all prepared with their angel blades. This wasn't the first time Meg had set off any alarms. Why just last week she was in a library, minding her own business, when a demon popped up next to her. She ganked the s.o.b. right then and there and left the scene before humans began to gather. Meg had to ditch her vessel after that because she didn't want to take the chance of even one person recognizing her.
Meg had grown accustomed to the immortal beings picking fights with her ever so randomly that she started carrying an angel blade right inside of her coat for easy access. Putting her items behind her Mag drew the blade out of her coat and threw a daring look on her face. Dare they did.
The angel closest to her took a step forward. Meg mimicked his movement. "You're supposed to be dead," he said, his voice a little shaky.
A slight smile grew on her face. "Didn't know they missed me upstairs." Now they were in a close range, exactly what she was going for. She twisted the blade in her hand before she stabbed it into the angel. His eyes and mouth beamed with a bright white light while a high pitch scream filled the air. The other angels took a step back, mortified. One by one the angels flew out of there, wanting to stay alive a little while longer.
Meg wiped the holy blood off of the blade and onto her victims nice suit. Humans began to gather once again. That's the problem with humans, they always get to curious. Once the cashier whom she had passed by earlier was in a two foot radius Meg stood up so he could get a good look at her current vessel before she left. The look on his face was priceless. Jimmy, his name tag read. The look on Jimmy's face was priceless. She let a cocky smile slip her grasp before she got her groceries and left the scene, once again. Damn angels smashed my bread.
The pouring rain intensified outside as it has been doing for the past hour or so. Meg had traded off vessels on her way to the cabin. It's funny how one second you could be going through your normal day and the next you could be unwillingly possessed by a demon. Many people's lives are ruined because they happen to be the nearest sack of rotting flesh available for demonic use. Meg ditched the old sack of bones for a shiny new attorney, suit and all.
Meg had abandoned her old vessel on the side of the street in a new town, two states over from her original pick-up-spot. Once in her new body, Meg gave a quick glance over at her old one before she disappeared.
There was a knock at the door. Meg wouldn't have, shouldn't have heard it over the loud thunder claps seemingly getting closer. She slowly got up from her seat and crept over to the door. Whoever was on the other side must've been impatient for the knocking turned to pounding.
Meg finally got behind the door and straightened up. She grasped the door knob with her right hand and started to turn it. The door revealed a girl, no younger than sixteen. She was standing in the dimly lit doorway soaking wet. "Please help me," she said gasping as if she were on the verge of tears. "I can't run any more and I need a place to hide for a few days." Meg stared at the girl, unsure of what to do.
A/N Hey there friends. Long time no story. So I've realized that I haven't done a true fanfiction, so here is one!! Also, I am going to try to make it so that if you don't watch Supernatural or you aren't fully up to date on it, it will still be readable. And the cover is more than likely going to change, more than once. But as of right now, I think it's okay. Anyways this will be the story I am posting while I am working on Scar of Life. I honestly haven't made it past the third chapter so don't expect it to be up any time soon. I'm also attempting third-person on this book (hopefully it goes better than last time)
Unlike Scar of Life, there is currently no set in stone day that I will be uploading. Once the ball gets rolling there is a greater chance there will be one because I like schedules I can keep up with. I'm going to let you get on with your life.
