Alaskan Memories
Prologue
Memories can be the cause of many happy faces. Even the simplest of memories can draw a laugh from a spiraling soul. Memories though can also bring pain so deep, so heart wrenching and full of the deepest of horrors that even the strongest of men would cower away. I wish I could experience even one of these memories. Strange wish to make, I know, but when you wake in a strange place with no knowledge of whom and where you are, a person craves self-knowledge of any kind. All I knew when my eyes opened to the vast sight of darkness and the pale moon, was that the blood upon my hands was not my own.
