Chapter 6 The Journey Is Waiting

Once Elijah and Isaiah heard that Garmadon would be in the one place that meant dear to them they new that it wouldn't be long until he did take someone or something that was dear to them....
   "Elijah, Elijah!!! , come on we need to go home and call Father quickly" Isaiah was very worried especially since they family their Father, Thalia (their baby sister) , their grandad, grandma, cousins, people they really care about could become injured or worse. "Call Dad" Elijah said talking to his car... "Hey son,  what's up?" their dad was always excited to hear from his kids " Hey father, is it okay if we come to you for spring break, we didn't get a change to see you this Christmas,  and we really miss you" Elijah and his siblings don't really get to see their dad since he is thirteen hours away " Um,  yes unless it's okay with your mom" to be honest he really didn't care if they where driving to him right now "Cool I'll ask mother, I bet she'd say yes since Isaiah and I can drive now,  alright father I just wanted to say hey see you in a couple of days, love you bye!" "Okay Isaiah now all we have to do is convince mother to let us go to fathers" Elijah said, thinking that it's about to be a breeze. The boys drove all the way home from school and as soon as they unlocked the door the could feel a dark powerful force " So Boys,  when where you gonna tell me that you wanted to go to your dad? " , there mom was sitting in a chair facing the back of them at the table, drinking tea "  Well, we where just about to tell you but I guess father bet us" Isaiah was always the one to explain to there mom " well y'all can go" there mom stood up and faced them with her arms crossed, " but the girls can't we where thinking will y'all where gone we where gonna have a full spring break girls week in hotels, going out to eat, and shlitterbahn ( a huge water park in Houston, Texas)  " there m9m knew that they couldn't resist that over their dad (or so she thought) " nope we're okay, come on Elijah let's go upstairs so we can pack) the two boys didn't take long to get things ready for war all the brought was two pairs of clothes ratchet shoes and some underwear and socks. And on they went to save Carbondale Illinois. " Hey Elijah what do you think is gonna happen will their be like an earthquake and he emerges from the ground with creepy monsters, and destroys everything, even though Carbondale doesn't have much? "Isaiah was talking through his phone on speaker, " I don't know but I hope nothing gets to out of had, because I'm new at this, but if he gets to father and tries to take Thalia, I garenty he will be digging his way back down to the core of the earth" Elijah didn't let know one talk about his family especially Thalia, not only was she the most cutest thing in her but she was "Walker Girl" so he new she could take care of herself in the long run, "yep I dare him to touch her, well not literally because if she was captured she would be scared for life especially when your five years old you would remember every bit of it too.". The boys where in their sweatpant joggers and silky smooth v-neck shirts ready for a long drive ahead for them,  all they thought about was how the would kick Garmadon right off their planet and bring it to safety with their awesome crystal powers of fire and ice.
