Kobayashi's POV

It was mid-August, it's been a year since Tohru and Kanna moved in and a year of knowing their friends. Surprisingly things didn't change as much, sure Tohru's dad stopped bugging her but something just doesn't feel right... I feel as if something is missing or something that might change my life might happen, and soon, I'm always on edge nowadays and it, in fact, scares me. Sometimes I wish Tohru was a bit safer but on the other half I find her company quite uplifting, I've been a lot happier since she has been in my life. "Miss. Kobayashi-san, what are you thinking about?" I hear Tohru ask " You look like your in deep thought what's a matter?" Looking to meet her gaze I answer her question honestly. "Oh... I've just been thinking about how much fun and happier my life has been since you and Kanna moved in." Her eyes light up and she begins frolicking around like a puppy about to be given a treat. "Fun and happy? You really mean that Miss. Kobayashi-san?!"
I let out a light-hearted chuckle"Yes, you and Kanna, mean a lot to me..." I finish slightly blushing and scratching my cheek"Oh, Miss. Kobayashi-san I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!" Tohru, as usual, tries to tackle me into a hug and as expected I dodge the flying mass of dragon. "Calm down Tohru!" I said sternly "Remember I have a bad back!" Tohru then gives me that hurt look, it's fairly similar to a toddler. "Sorry Miss. Kobayashi-san..." Tohru begins to pout, which always tugs at my heart. So I walk up to her and gave her a hug to make her smile once more. Unfortunately for me, I was lead into a trap, Tohru swiftly turned around and gave me a quick kiss on the nose. I was utterly shocked, I didn't know how to react I just sat there stiff as if I were a statue. Finally, I snap out of my trance state and ready to give her a lecture, that, and yell her name... "T-T... TOHRU!!" "Yes, Miss. Kobayashi-san?!" She gives me that signature smile and laughs.
