Kobayashi's POV

Today I happened to get off early. However, I don't feel like going home... Elma stopped by and asked me to accompany her to a new sushi bar next to the shopping district, it was around lunchtime so sushi doesn't sound so bad. "I'll meet you there Elma, I believe that you have a couple of things to do." Her eyes seem to gleam with joy "Oh thank you! Thank you!" She practically leapt at me, tackling me into a soft hug. Her giggles filled the air around us. "Okay okay... Calm down." After she released me from the hug I began to pack whatever work belongings I had and left to the sushi bar.
Walking past the shopping district, I couldn't help but wonder what Tohru was doing... Of course, she's either cleaning or running some errands. Hopefully staying out of trouble. It wasn't hard to find the restaurant because of the location of the building and how new it looked. Stepping inside, the host greats me "Hello! Welcome to Sakana no Basho, how many will there be?" The place looked relatively standard, nothing fancy... "Just two, the other person should arrive shortly." The man gestures to me to follow him and I obliged. The table is right next to the window, where I watched the cars go by. Though the peace didn't last long for a loud boom rumbled the establishment. "What the-" then calmness. I decided to shrug it off considering they were doing some demolition work this evening. " I wonder where Elma is..." as if on queue she walks in, clearly exhausted and mildly panicked. "Ah! Miss. Kobayashi-san, I am so so sorry that I'm late. I ran into a little trouble on the way. But it's taken care of!"
I only nod and order some food.
