unmasked

part 1:

      It all started June 13th 2001 at 12:43pm, in Denton county Texas the day I entered what looked like a completely new, bright World. My mother being 16 years younger than my father, was 17 years old. I was born into a family with a felon as a father and an exotic dancer as a mother. Being in this World for two years by myself was told me be very lonely for me, that was until my little sister Tearra was born on April 17 2003. Instantly, we were best friends. From matching outfits daily, snuggling while we sleep, and bathing together, to hair pulling like no other we were inseparable.
 

One day, about 3 years later my sister and I had finally found out what the reason we had to "stay in the bedroom" was. When we exited our bedroom our father was dragging our mom down the hallway by her hair as she screamed and pleaded for him to stop, soon after he yanked her up and pinned her up by her throat against the wall, feet lifted off the ground before noticing we had just witnessed him do all of this. Soon enough we were notified that one of of neighbors were frightened themselves of the yells, threats, and commotion that had seemed to be going on in our home, and that they had notified the police. A black dodge pulls into the driveway and my moms step dad and mom jump out of the car and run into the house.

  Moments pass and the scene becomes the exactly same as before, just including my mothers parents. My mother screams for us to run outside and follow as her parents try to hold my father back, we get outside in the splint of time, before my father grips my left and my mom grips the opposite. My little sister speeds into my father's truck, my mother distraught loses her grip and stumbles backwards falling on her bottom. My father picks me up and rushes to the truck, starts it, and managed to speed off as my mother regains her balance and attempts to chase the truck for almost a block. It was then that my sister and I did not see my mom for almost a full 3 years once.
