Taehyung
Its been a week since Anna showed up. It may be weird but since then, we've been watching Jimin wherever he goes. Wether we like it or not, we must make sure they don't meet.
"Taehyung-a, Im not gonna say this because I don't trust you but I'm pretty sure that no matter what we do, the time will come when they'll meet again."
I turned to the side facing Sun Mi. Her face written with mixed of pain and worry.
"I know that too but still. We don't know what'll happen if they meet. Jimin hated her ever since she left him, I'm sure he hasn't gotten over that yet."
She lets out a deep sigh and looked down.
There was a moment of silence when...
"What're you doing?"
We turned around seeing Kosaki.
Sun Mi and I both face each other and as if exchanging messages through eyes.
"Uhhh, we were playing hide-and-seek." Sun Mi forcefully smiled.
She nodded, "Who's the it?"
"Uhhh...it's..."
I turned where Jimin was when I noticed he was about to head to our direction.
Without thinking, I pulled Kosaki down making her stumble on me.
"Wh-what's, what's happening?" she panicked.
I shushed her and watched as Jimin turned and walked away.
I sighed and let go of her hand.
"Sorry." I whispered.
She wasn't answering so I looked at her, her face burning red and surprised.
Sun Mi and I stood up while she was left sitting on the floor.
I held out my hand for her to grab. She looked at it for a while before grabbing it and helping her stand.
"Uhmm anyway, who are you hiding from?" she asked fidgeting with her fingers.
I glanced at Sun Mi who is lost in her thoughts again.
I sighed and shook my head.
"It's no one. We were just pretending to be spies. Sorry for dragging you suddenly."
She blinked a couple of times, glancing from Sun Mi to me.
"No no It's fine. I'm sorry for interrupting. Well, I'll be going ahead now." she waved a goodbye before walking away.
I turned to Sun Mi seeing her still frozen.
I reached out for her hand making her look at me.
Her eyes written in worry, confused, and scared. Her hands were cold and she was shaking.
Her eyes were tired and her face red.
I was about to speak when she suddenly collapsed. Luckily I caught her quickly. Her head on my chest.
Now that I realize it, she's breathing heavily. I touched her forehead to my surprise. Without second thoughts. I carried her bridal style and brought her to my house.
My house was the closest so I bought her there. I pressed my password and brought her in my room. I gently put her in bed and got a face towel soaked in warm water.
I pressed it lightly on her forehead and cover her with the comforter.
I sat beside her and took her hands in mine.
I can't believe I didn't notice that she wasn't feeling well.
I guess she got used to hiding everything too much.
"I'm sorry for realizing it only now. Please don't hesitate to tell me anything. And....I'm sorry."
I kissed her forehead and left the room.
Sun Mi
I woke up with a terrible head ache. I opened my eyes and adjusted to the light.
I looked around the unfamiliar room. Beside me was a small lamp. The blinds were closed but I knew that the sun's down. I got up the bed and went outside. The moment I walked out, I smelled the good smell of meat.
I went down the stairs to the kitchen seeing Taehyung cooking.
He turned of the stove and turned around holding 2 plates with meat and kimchi."You're awake. I hope you got some good sleep."
He sets down the plates as we sat down and eat.
"Sorry, I never really thought of someone staying over so I haven't had groceries."
I shook my head and smile faintly. I wasn't actually feeling awkward but instead embarrassed. I can't believe he carried me all the way here.
"Sorry I didn't tell you."
He looked up stopping mid-way eating his food.
"That I was sick." I continued.
He sets his fork down and sighed.
"Its okay but tell me next time when you're not feeling well. What if you got fainted by the time we've went our separate ways? Something worse could've happen you know."
"I know and I'm sorry."
He sighs and look down.
"It doesn't matter. At least now you're safe."
We finished our food silently while he washed the dishes. I insisted to do it but instead he told me to just rest more.
I looked at the clock and realized it was quarter to 8. I walked up to the kitchen and told Taehyung that'll I'll go ahead.
"It's late. I'll drive you home."
"No its okay. You've done enough for me. I'll just take a cab."
"No Sun Mi. Please just let me take you home. I can't just let you leave alone knowing that you haven't even fully recovered."
"It's okay Taehyung. I'm feeling a bit better now actually. It's not like my house is that far anyway."
"No way. I doubt that. Just wait for me, I'll grab my keys."
I tried to stop him but I knew he would still insist to bring me home no matter what.
After 15 minutes in the car with no one uttering a word, we reached my house.
"Uhmmm...thanks for bringing me home and everything."
"It's nothing."
There was a moment of silent until I broke it.
"So,I guess I need to head in now. Thanks for everything again."
I got out the car and to the gate. I unlocked the gate and was about to head in when he spoke.
"Uhmmm...good night. Please take care of yourself...uhhh, Don't hesitate to call me if you need any help."
I smiled and nod. He smiled back before driving off.
'Still the same as before.' I thought.
