Diamond's Flashback:
"Jonothan, you can't do this! She's only nine" my mother's weak fragile voice whimpered
I eavesdropped from behind my paren'ts bedroom door. Could they be talking about me?
"You wanna rot on the streets?!" my father's heart pounding voice defended
Before I know it the room door unlocks and my father and mother is taking me outside. I'm suppose to be asleep right now because a nine year old would need the rest for school tomorrow. My mother kissed my forehead.
"Here, Diamond. This will always remind you that we love you." my mother placed a gold locket around my neck with the initials K.B on it.
"Mommy, where are we going?" I asked looking around our usual dark poor dilapidated neighboorhood.
"We're not going, honey. You are." my father answered.
Soon the only sound that could be heard was the sound of a black mitsubushi car's wheel skirching through the corner. The glass were tinted. The car came to a halt and the window rolled down.
"Thats the girl?" a cold manly voice asked.
"Yes." my father answered.
"Put her in." the man commanded.
Before I knew it I was in the back of some random man's car been taking away by my parents. I watched as my mother waved goodbye and my father pushed her inside. That men and his friends did awful things to me that still scar me to this day. If my own parents betrayed me I can't trust anyone. Not even myself.
