I started to scream. dayrl woke up covering my mouth."shh." he said. I started to calm down. "I i ." I could t speak. I had a bad dream. I barely could breath. I covered and sat by the wall. I coughed. "beth." dayrl said sitting by me. he felt my head. "your burning up like hell." he said. I felt as if I was going to puke. dayrl looked at me and than grabbed his cross bow and headed down stairs. "dayrl don't." I said. "you need medicine." I felt weak. I couldn't walk right. I hit head and seen something in the corner of the room. it was a sniper. I grabbed it and looked outside watching dayrl enter the store. I kept watching a walker went in and I looked at it closer. it was carol. dayrl had his bag full and ran into carol. I loaded up the sniper dayrl kept pushing carol because he couldn't kill one of our own. I took the shot and killed carol. dayrl looked up and ran back in. the walkers we moving but didn't see us. "are you OK?" I said hugging dayrl. he coughed. "thanks for the shot." he said "dayrl your bleeding!" I took off his shirt. it was a scrape from my bullet bouncing off a metal door. I wanted to cry. "beth its fine." he said wrapping it up with an old cloth. "how is it alright! I could have killed you! never go out for me like that again!" I said furiously. he finished wrapping it and hand end me a bottle of medicine and juice. "migh knock down that fever." he said in his accent. "is that wha it is." I said smiling mocking his accent. he grunted a d smiled laying down. I took the medicine. "are you ok ? how you feeling." I asked him. "I am alright tired."
I looked at him and held my stomach. "I feel sick to my stomach. " I felt dayrls arm go around my stomach. he laid me down. "you will be fine." dayrl said. "what are we going to do?" I asked dayrl looking at him. "Layin down." he said "no I mean where are the others?" "we seen what happens to carol." dayrl said.
"what about Maggie." I said. I totally forgot about even on in the prison intile we seen a dead carol. did it even hurt dayrl? I kissed his bandage. I wonder if anyone is out there. dayrl kissed me. "we cant stay here forever." dayrl said. I turned away from him and puked down the stairs. my stomach wasn't hungry. I laid down as my bones felt thin. I was turning as I felt like I was going to fall down the stairs. my head hurt. I began to cry softly. dayrl picked me up and put me in the sunlight to feel heat. he wrapped me up in a blanket attempting to break fever. "stay warm beth." he said as I shiverd more before. he looked to then left out a window and seen a river. he grabbed the bags and carried me over to the river. "does the water make you feel nice?" he Asked me. " I seen a tent." I stumbled over to it. "did you feel emotional about carol?" I asked him. "it just sucks we lost more of our group." I opened the tent and seen a bloody picture of rick,Carl and Laurie. "they were near here." dayrl said following a blood track and foot prints. I held my stomach and followed. "do you think they are OK?" I asked. "dayrl held me close and kissed me. "they are more then ok." he said as he reached a street and found a car that looks a little dusty and said help on the side. "we are on to something." I said as dayrl laughed. "I feel like that cartoon on t.v thing." dayrl looked at me werid. "still a kid." he said I punched him softly. "just a memory." I said still walking. we saw a u haul. I wanted to open it but dayrl looked at me. "we should knock first." he said. "why because someone might live there?" I said goofing off. "no to see if there is any walkers inside." I got my pocket knife out as dayrl set a new arrow in his bow. I walked over to the door and was shaking. I taped my knife on the door. I looked at dayrl as we heard noises while the door opened. a bloody rick with a bandage around his waste and a Carl that had a gun up against the door. rick beard was gray and long and carols hair was longer to. dayrl had shock on his face as rick help us up in the u haul and shut the door.
