PROLOGUE

I woke up to Tona screaming my name. Dear lord what did this women want ! Tona is my ragedy ass mama who aint shit but a crack head but we will get to that later on. Im Riya pronounced (RU-eye-UH) im pecan tan five six with curly hair im dominican and jamaican in curvy nice size boobs and a nice ass what can i say it runs in the family. In further news I have two brothers one who is in prison De'Aundre and my little brother King is two years old, pretty smart for his age knows his alphabets, can spell his full name , walking , talking and beginning to write all thanks to me. My dad's in jail for reasons "im not allowed to know about" as he say's. and kings daddy is never around. On the topic of tona she abused me alot after my daddy went away always talked bad about me and treated me like shit. when she got pregnant with king I had to keep up with her. missing school to make sure she didnt do drugs and damage king. I mean she wasn't always a bad parent maybe it was due to my daddy but don't ask dont tell and I really dont care. On with the story though.

"Riya...Riya" Tona called from down the hall.

"Coming" I screamed.

"YEA..." I asked when I got to the kitchen.

"Mind helping me put away the food?"

"Na, I dont mind" I grabbed an bag and started putting it away. An awkward silence filled the room. I dont speak to Tona for obvious reasons and she returns the favor. While putting away the food I stuffed some into an brown bag for me and king. I know after her boyfriend gets here the food will not last for long. I finished grabbed the bag with the food picked king up off the couch and headed to my room.

"you hungry baby"

"Mm"he nods his head yes.

"nope use your words king"

"inne hungry" he tryed to repeat me.

I feed him and put him to bed. He should be up in a couple of hours to eat again. I been texting my sexy face and trying to do my homework. I took a quick shower and curled my hair and all I could see was smoke clouds and people everywhere. I made my way to the kiitchen where she sat in the chair.

She grabs my hand and pulled as hard as she could. I pushed her with my other hand and yanked back. I ran down the hall with her calling my name. Not long after I packed our bags there was beating on the door.

"RIYA, RIYA OPEN THIS DAMN DOOR NOW" she screamed and banged against the door.

I picked up king and opened the window I almost fell out of it when the banging got louder and the door started shaking. I threw our bags on top of the bushes and jumped maybe three feet to the ground. It was cold and king was fussing. I grabbed our bags and half ran threw the ally til I hit the park. We stopped and I sat down and fed him. My mind running a million miles a minute drifted off thinking about what I was going to do I couldnt go back and I had no where to go. Then it dawned on me I could go to mama mae's. When I looked down at king I seen every bit of De'Audre in him...man did i miss him. I didnt want king to turn out like he did. Prison is nobodys life. I looked at my watch and had an hour before it was time to go to work. I picked up our things and held kings hand off to mama Mae's. Half a block later king started whining so I tried to pick him up and ended up dropping all of our bags. I bent over to pick them up when I was knocked over, I caught myself before my face smached into the ground. Looking up I seen two set of feet fly pass me.

"STUPID BITCHES" I Screamed. One boy turned around and he was extremely sexy he flashed a smile and sped back up. I looked at king and he was gigling. I gathered our things picked him up and sped walked the whole way there.

"This was gonna be an Long day I said to myself.."
