"G'Morning, Atsumi" says Oniki. "What's going on.." I say blankly rubbing my eyes. "You never wake me up..." Wait, did I sleep late again!? I thought as I shot up in my bed. "Oh, yeah, your friend.. I think he said... Onoda and some other people are outside waiting for you." " Ok. Wait. WHAT?". Struggling to get ready I run and put on a pair of jeans and a shirt, making sure I grab my bag and rush out the door without breakfast, seeing Onoda through the window with the rest of the band. "What the heck are these people thinking" I mutter under my voice. Once I open the door the he greets me as he seems as the only one who notices me. " What the heck do you guys think you're doing here?!" I say in a tone were Onoda is the only one who can hear me. He was scratching the back of his head when he said to me "Oh, just thought you would have liked to walk with the band to the bus." Seriously, they wanted me to walk with the band. They didn't just the slightest bit notice that maybe it would have seemed like they were a little suspicious waiting outside from dawn waiting for someone to get out of their house just so that they could walk with them to the bus.

We got off of the bus and walked into the school. Gakuen High School, I am a junior and have almost no friends whatsoever. That is, not including Onoda and the band. I open the door to the classroom and sit down in my seat next to a blonde haired girl that I think is named Euki. I barely am listening to the professor's lecture when the bell rings and that's the end of the day. I am stuffing my locker getting ready to leave this wretched place when it hits me. Band practice. I glance at my watch to see its 3:56. I had been wasting a lot of time. Band practice was supposed to start in 4 minutes. I start un-stuffing the locker as quickly as possible and throw my bag over my shoulder running down the side hallway across the entire building to get to the abandoned music room.

"It's about time, Atsumi." Says Isorku "Hey Atsumi!" yells Yaku. "Hey" I say trying my hardest not to pant. "Where's Onoda?" I ask. "Oh right, he'll be here in a second, he went with Takuji to go get the equipment. Hey! There he is!"replied Yaku pointing outside of the window next to the doorway. "Hey Atsumi" says Onoda as he walks in and the door swings open wide while he is pulling a huge wagon behind him with all different instruments. I sat down in one of the couches pushed against the back of the huge sound proof room, which I didn't know existed until a few days ago. "Ok, now, let's get started." Onoda says after parking the wagon and unloading all of the contents with Takuji. "I made a list of who I think would be best for each of the instruments we have." Takuji is on drums, Yaku on piano, Yuka on sound effects, Isorku on keyboard, me on base, and Atsumi as guitar. We do need to see who will be doing vocals later as well." Guitar? Well I can't be the one complaining, I'm the one who hasn't played an instrument before and joined band anyway. We all sat down after we got through everything and were talking about how we thought the instruments we had been assigned complimented each other when it came to me. "Hey guys, don't we have to know how to read music?" I blurt out so that everyone could hear me. "Yeah, your right, we don't know how to read or write music at all, well at least I don't." says Yaku.  " You're right Atsumi, I totally forgot." says Onoda mournfully."I do" says Isorku. "Don't worry, I'll teach you guys, but you have to work." "Oh, hey guys, Its 6:04 time to go home." shouted Onoda. We all got out of the couches and got our things, heading out the door.

Finally I got home. It was a interesting time at band practice, though I wonder who would be on vocals. I don't know everyone really well so I will look forward to seeing everyone's skills. Band practice actually was fun. Yuka must be extremely shy because she really barely talked at all the entire time, except talking to everyone else and Yaku how they thought the their instruments were what the had hoped. I walked past my sisters and little brother watching TV very intently and up the stairs. I put my stuff down and changed into my pajamas. I listened to music as I studied homework, and then I took an early bedtime at 9:00 while all of the other people in the house were distracted and being quiet for once. I jumped in bed and fell straight asleep.
