This Is Us (N.M)

Its been a few days and my parents took the weekend off, so we could have bonding time. We even visited my grandparents in the next town for the day.

Monday we were back on the plane to florida to visit Liza's grandparents. She said her grandma is on her death bed and her granddad isn't doing to well either. So we are visiting them.

SAMMY-

Skate hasn't been the same since the day he spent at Alexia's. He came home that night and got drunk. He drank so much he had the worst hang over. Then he smoked like 10 blunts the next day and so on. He looks as broken as the day they ended things.

"We leave tomorrow", I sighed. He had to fix this.

" I know but I tried. I called her house and her dad said they're gone. They left but wouldn't tell me where", he sighed.

Sammy: liza right?

Liza: obviously.

Sammy: im a friend of Alexia's. Skate is in bad shape. He needs her liza...

Liza: she wont even leave the house. And when she does she just sits on the beach rocks starring off into the ocean

Sammy: ocean? Where you guys at?

Liza: Tampa, Florida. We are spending the final week here if break. We will be going back to texas we go back Friday...

Sammy: should I get his ass on the plane to there or wait til your back in texas?

Liza: Texas? Idk its up to you

Sammy: thank you Liza

Liza: I'm doing this because shes my best friend. She needs you guys back. She needs him back...

Sammy: he needs her too...

WEEK LATER
ALEXIA-

I spent the whole time in Florida down and depressed. I loved the ocean though. We got home yesterday. 

"Liza...can we please go out. The club down the street is having a 2 for 1 on all drinks til midnight",I said.

" Sounds good. But Alex is coming", she said. Wait...no fight?

I went back to my room and changed. I put on a black sparkly top, black skinny jeans, and black heeled booties. I left my hair down and just dark red matte lip stick.

We left, picked up Alex and went to the club known as Black Angels. The guard is my friend so he lets us in.

Alex pulled Liza to the dance floor. He's the driver but he hates when she drinks.

"Two shots of jack please", I said to the bar keeper.

" Sure thing Lex", he said. I've hooked up with him a few times but he's a good friend. He's good people.

"So how was break",he asked handing me the shots.

" I saw him again...", I sighed. His eyes grew a little knowing who I was talking about.

"What happened", he asked.

" Big fight. But Fin I missed him. I didn't realize how much I missed having him in my arms, in my bed, in my life...", I sighed.

"Why didn't you tell me", a familiar voice said next to me.

" How Long have you been there",I groaned.

"When he asked what happened", he said. I glared at Fin. He put his hands up and walked away.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the front of the club then out.

I pushed him against the wall.

" What the hell Nathan",I snapped.

"Why are you yelling at me",he snapped back.

" Why the tell are you in houston".

"Because I need you. I need my other half back! I can't do this anymore Alexia", he snapped.

NATE-

She was driving me crazy. We are crazy. Just standing here outside a club yelling at each other. But this is what we do. This is us. We hate but love. We fight but make up. We share but lie. We are Nathan and Alexia. We are always and forever.

I just grabbed her face in my hands and kissed her. She tensed but kissed back. She gripped my hair tightly in her fingers as I moved my hands to her waist and pulled her closer to me.

ALEXIA-

I cant believe were making out after just screaming at each other. But that's what we do. That's us. In high school, we would piss each other off just to have a heated night. We get boff on anger. Its weird I know but that is just...this is what we do to each other. We hate to love but love to hate each other. This guy has been my best friend since middle school, my boyfriend since freshmen year and my enemy since mid senior year.

"About time", a voice said. Pulling us both out of the heated make out. It was sammy, the jacks, and alex, Liza.

I pushed Nate away and ran to my car, getting in and locking it. I drove off but didn't go home.
