Chapter 3
I wake up at the crack of dawn.
My hed dripping in sweat from another nightmare.
I go to wipe it away when I realize my arm is pinned to the bed by something soft. I turn my head and see Ginnys sleeping form curled into a ball around my arm. Her pale face was contorted in fear and her eyes squezes shut.
I quietly plant a kiss on her forehead and whisper into her ear.
"Don't worry. Its all over. I'm here."
Her face then visably relaxes.
We sit there for another minute until her eyes start to open. A small smile apears on her face when she sees me, she snuggles closer to me before speaking.
"I not ready for today." She whispers.
"I know. I don't think any of us are." I mumble into her hair.
"I wish we could stay up here forever." She mumbles.
"Yeah. Me too." I whisper kissing her on the lips.
Her eyes flutter close, our lips moving in sinc.
"I geuss we'll have to wait for everyone else to wake up." She mumbles agaisnt my lips.
"And knowing my family, that wont he for a little while."
