Why am I still shaking? It's not even cold so why the hell am I still shaking?
Look at your clothes. They're stained. Yeah I know ever since I slashed the poor man. They've been stained ever since they disappeared, remember? But don't worry I will wash these clothes and find a new set of clothes. But I'm not throwing this outfit away. Too much memories, too much.

Tatsumi did it. He actually left and went ahead to the Capital. By himself. And not with his two dear friends.
"But they are stronger than me when the two are together. They...they don't need me." He told himself. It's been six hours since he left. And he's not lost surprisingly. Memorizing the map did pay off then. But he's still worried after all there are obstacles in this forest. Two examples are danger beasts, and bandits. At least a group of six. Tatsumi isn't THAT worried about the bandits. He can fend off at least five, or more.
Right now he's almost halfway through the forest. He has only ran into ONE danger beast but defeated it with ease. It wasn't even a S-class.

The teen now decides it is time to rest. There's a little bit of space to create a fire with all the wood around him. "It's kinda a good thing I can create a fire isn't it?" He's spoke to himself due to him being lonely. He's hopeless really, it's only been six hours and he feels kinda lonely and empty at this moment. "It'll be a blessing if I met a decent person in this forest. And it'll be better if they were going to the Capital too." As he finished creating the fire he lies down and stares at the black sky with so many stars it looks like a meteor shower. More like shooting stars. "Seeing this is relaxing. And depressing." The last part was spoken in a sad tone. As he decides to sleep he hears foot steps. Seven of them too.

"Bandits." He mumbled.
"And they show up at the right moment too. What a bunch of assholes." He gets back up and readies himself for battle. With two hands gripping onto his long broadsword, shiny as ever, and clean. Even though he slew a danger beast the blood was easy to wipe off. "This time my clothes will need to be washed if I have to cut them." As the bandits start closing in on him he couldn't help but feel a little scared. "Well they're seven of them so it's kinda intimidating; Sayo and Ieyasu are behind. I'm very afraid if I don't fend them off."

One came out of the bushes. Then two more. Three came out. All of them way taller and bigger than Tatsumi himself. And ugly with so many blood and various other stains. Finally one of them spoke. "This ain't a girl boss." One said with a frown. Rapists. Tatsumi is now fueled with anger, and especially disgust. "You three are scums. If you want to kill me go for it! Because you aren't gonna make it out here alive." Tatsumi then got into a defensive stance. The trio didn't wait and charged at the brown haired swordsman and all slashed at him.
"You guys aren't that bad. Which one is the boss?" As he finished saying those words he parried all their attacks and cut off their heads clean. He didn't feel any remorse. They were scum. Plus he was driven by anger at the moment so he didn't hesitate either. "I'm guessing the boss was one you guys." He pointed at the dead bodies and laughed a little bit. "You guys aren't amateurs but you guys aren't on my league." He praised and bragged at them. Then four more of them came.

The one that stood out the most was the biggest one with his left eye covered up, messy facial hair, and two axes. The rest were still bigger then Tatsumi and were bigger than the last trio. And have better weapons. The trio had broadswords too, but the others had chainswords. Chainsaws+swords= weapon of mass destruction. "Heh looking for the boss. Well here he is." The biggest one spoke. Tatsumi stares in awe as he wields the two axes and swings them with ease. "This is gonna be difficult. And why do yo guys come at the night time! I want to sleep!" Tatsumi yelled out in frustration. Of course he knew the answer to why they attack him at night. But he was just soooo tired. "Well too bad kid! Now do me a favor and give all your belongings now little shit." Boss Bandit demanded. Tatsumi answers with a running attack towards one of the goons. He kills one of them but the other two push him back to defense and start rushing him. "Fuck! You guys are too much!" Tatsumi has never fought someone with these weapons. Or anyone this skilled. "Sensei would've been so disappointed at me. These guys have the strength of Ieyasu." As Tatsumi tried to formulate a plan Boss Bandit charged at him with such speed that he landed a cut on Tatsumi. But he didn't stop there. He started to do a barrage of attacks on the teen.
Luckily the rest of them he either parried or blocked away. Still he was left panting, out of air. "Kid you givin up?" No answer. Just heavy breathing. "Well I won't give you time to answer cuz-" Tatsumi punches him at the face and then the chain-swordsman attack him from all angles and directions! "Goodbye world." Tatsumi says with sadness. "I guess Sayo was right, I didn't even make it halfway." As he closes his eyes a person with saves him in a flash. A female.
"You were going to let them kill you like that." The female said with little emotion. But she was obviously disappointed in Tatsumi. "You're not Sayo. Who are you? And thank you for saving me." He bowed down. The female's face expression did not change. But she still spoke. "Don't mention it." And turns around to face the bandits. "Boss, it's a girl!" "Let's have fun with her!" "Yeah!" The chain-duo cheered. The female then pulled out her katana. "A swords-woman?" Tatsumi has never seen a girl wield a sword. Let alone hold one. Not even in his village. Not even Sayo. Now for the first time the girl finally smirked at hearing Tatsumi's comment. "What never seen a girl hold a weapon?" She even spoke with emotion. Her tone sounded cocky, but she wasn't trying to be. Now that the moonlight is hitting her Tatsumi sees her appearance.
She is a few good two-three inches smaller than he. She has back hair that reaches her neck, high-knee socks with weird shoes that Tatsumi isn't aware of.  Tapping shoes? And she's wearing a sailor uniform with colors of black, and a red tie. Same with her short skirt. Tatsumi can't help but she thinks she's cute. He's seen a few cute women back at his village, one being Sayo, but this girl is pretty darn cute in his eyes. His green ones meeting her black ones.
"Checking me out now?" She said, her smirk turning into a grin. "Is she ignoring us?" One bandit said in disbelief. Boss Bandit was outraged. "How dare you ignore us! Now you're gonna get it!" "Oh no! Run before it's too late!" Tatsumi shouted a warning to the girl but she turned back around to face them again. With the same. Emotionless. Face. Then there was blood on her face. And her sword back in her sheath. She looks on to Tatsumi.
Giggling at his reaction. "You were saying?" She asked. Tatsumi couldn't believe it! She was so fast. The bandits couldn't see it but he did. She cut them down with one horizontal slash. And then there goes their bodies! "You're so fast!" He said in amazement. "You've got to teach me! So I can fight better. Please?" He was hoping she would say yes. But he wouldn't be mad if she politely declined too. Her face changes from cocky to surprised. "You're the first." She said. "What." She spoke again with a smile Tatsumi thought was cute. He blushed at it. "You're the first to ask me to teach." She smiled showing her teeth. Then her stomach growled. And now it's her turn to blush from embarrassment. "I'm hungry." She said.
Tatsumi just blinked.
"Okay? Well I have food and I'm hungry too. Wanna share?" He offered.
He could've swore he saw stars in her eyes when he said yes. "Yes!" She yelled out of joy. "Err.. I mean please. If you don't mind." The brown haired teen just laughed. "Tatsumi. That's my name." He offered her his hand. She sensed no danger in him so she accepted. "Kurome. That's me." She shook it a little too hard. But Tatsumi didn't mind. Her hand was so small and soft for some reason. "Do all girls have small and soft hands?" He asked out loud. Kurome then said "Do all guys check out pretty girls like me?" Tatsumi just blushed.

After eating they started to talk to one another. "So Kurome, What brings you out here?" Kurome was silent. Wondering if he was trustworthy. But he looks so innocent to her and she doesn't sense anything bad in him, yet.
"Well I was on a mission, don't ask I won't answer you that, and now I'm heading home." Tatsumi was sad because he is gonna be lonely again.
"And here I thought you were gonna teach me." Kurome felt bad because she knows how it feels to be lonely. For a long time she was all alone. Isolated from her family. "Well maybe at the Capital I can." She said hopefully. She liked him. Not romantically. Just, he seems interesting. "Hey you're going to the Capital too?" Tatsumi's eyes now sparked up. "Yeah that's where my home is. And where my sister is known too." She said with a dark expression. Which low key freaked Tatsumi out. "Girls are scary." He mumbled quietly. But audible enough for Kurome to hear. "Will you want to you know, give me company." Tatsumi asked nervously. He was never really good with girls. Sayo yeah because he was more comfortable around her. Kurome is lovely but he barely met her. Kurome giggles which is very cute in his opinion. "You can just say 'can you come with me' and I will say yes."
Tatsumi then blushes. But now his face is determined. Kurome found his face to be adorable when he blushed.
Like him she was never good with the opposite sex. Let alone has the ability to make one blush. Or even flirt with one. It's a new experience for the both of them. "Well what are you waiting for let's go!" She turned away quickly to hide her blush and ran off. "Race you!" She said laughing. She's never been this way for a long time. Not since that time era. Maybe he was a good influence on her. "Hey no fair! You got a head start!" He then ran after her laughing too. Forgetting about the Sayo incident.
"Next stop: the Capital! Here I come!" He yelled out with determination.
Kurome just smiled.
"I've got your back Tatsumi-kun."
