Shinee A Hidden Neko

After work

The cafe closes and Xiumin hands me a schedule of my work hours. We exchange numbers and say goodbye. My ears and tail finally went away as I walked back to the dorms. Well now I found out that whenever I'm excited or happy about something my ears and tail pop out.

"Ugh I have to hide it from them..." I mutter to myself and finally get to our dorm. I unlock the door and everyone's in the living room. Minho and Taemin are playing video games, Onew is eating chicken, and Key is playing on his phone. They all look up at me when I walk in.

"Hey where have you been?" Onew asks and bites into his chicken.

"I found a job so I was working," I told him and walked upstairs. "I'm going to bed g'night," I tell them and wave.

"Okay see you tomorrow!" everyone said.

Ugh, how am I supposed to keep this a secret? I don't know how long I can but I must try. I don't want to be judged like I had been. I used to be able to control my neko side but now it seems like I can't. This is not good, I change and get in my bed. I'm glad that I don't have a roommate or else that would make things even harder. After what seemed like forever I finally fell asleep.

I woke up to someone shaking me. I groaned and rolled over. I opened my eyes and realized that I was just about to fall of my bed when someone grabbed me. They put me back on my bed, "t-t-thanks!" I squeak and realize that I'm trembling. I look up to see Ren, "R-ren!? what are you doing here?" I say as he sees how much I'm trembling and lays down and pulls me close to him. He wraps his arms around me and I put my head on his chest.

"I came to see how you were doin'," he told me. "I'm the assistant manager so I saw where you live." he tells me with a smile.

"Ahem!" I hear Minho and quickly look up to see him standing at the doorway. Ren and I sit up but Ren still has his arms around me. Minho looks annoyed and mad but I don't see why we're just friends."who are you and why are you here?" he says annoyed.

"Well I'm Ren and I work with Dino here," Ren explains gesturing to me. "Also I'm going to be living here!" he smiles at me and my mouth drops open. He pecks my lips and jumps up. I look at Minho and he's staring at Ren like he wants to kill him. "I'll bring my things in!" Ren exclaims and walks out of the room. He stops by Minho and whispers something in his ear which is making him mad then leaves.

~hours later~

Ren is all settled in and he's my roommate so at least I won't have to hide it from him. I tell him that I wanna talk to him so he sits down.

"Nobody else knows that I'm a neko," I confess and his eyes get big.

"So what your saying is to help you keep your secret?" he asks me after a while and I nod. He kisses my head, "don't worry I will help," he smiles at me and I hug him. Just then Minho walks in and stops.

I look up at him, "yes?" I ask.

"I just came to say that Taemin and I are leaving and Key and Onew have already left..." He finally speaks and leaves,"bye!" then closes the door.

"So what should we do?" I ask and he brightens up.

"Let's dance!" he exclaims and I agree so we both change and go to the dance studio.
