Chapter 3: The Transfluxer Coil Plumber

Ratchet traveled in his newly acquired Megacorp Star Explorer Ship to planet Aranos, where he found the flying base. Aranos was an overcast, mountain filled snowy world. Ratchet steered the ship to the base, where he dropped himself off, and auto piloted the ship to pull back to a safe distance. He opened up his Megacorp weapon cube. It stored his weapons in another dimension, to where ratchet can deploy it back into his hand for butt-kicking. He equipped a hand-held blaster that appeared to be a "Lancer". He loaded it and shot it at the rogue Megacorp troops that worked for the thief. He defeated many enemies with it. He found another weapon, the "Gravity Bomb" it was a grenade launcher that launched huge bombs. Ratchet eventually reached the lab where the experiment was held. He noted that the experiment was literally a living furry blue ball with feet. He quietly grabbed the experiment, but a door opened revealing the thief and the rogue Megacorp bots pointing their guns at Ratchet.

"Woah, heh. Calm down. I'm just here to fix the... Uh.... Transfluxer Coil!" Said Ratchet.

"Nice try. Send my regards to Megacorp." Said the thief as he took the experiment. He opened a hatch for a pipe. He tried to slide down it, but he hit his head on the hatched. The troops started laughing, but were interrupted by the fact that he had his gun pointed at them. He slid down the pipe. Ratchet killed the bots and went into a main computer that hacked into the thief's ship communications. Ratchet turned it on.

"Thugs 4 Less. If it ain't broke, we'll break it." Said another voice.

"Yes, I'm in the market for some security." Said the theif.

"You bring the cash, we'll bring the thrash." Said the other voice.

"Good. I need your best men to meet me at these coordinates." Said the theif. The transmission ended there. Ratchet looked behind him and saw he was being chases by bots. He jumped out of the ship and had his Star Explorer pick him up.

"Ratchet checking in, sir." Said Ratchet to Mr. Fizzwidget through the communicator.

"Incredulous! I didn't think I've ever speak to you again! Errr.... So soon." Said Fizzwidget.

"There is one slight problem. The thief escaped with the experiment, and I had no time to find out were he was heading." Said Ratchet.

"Not to worry! I just received a transmission that may illubricate the matter!" Said Fizzwidget. He started to play a security tape at a what appeared to be a Megacorp store. The thief walked in with a couple armored reptilians into a Megacorp store.

"Excuse me. Do you have any maps to this quadrant of the galaxy?" Asked the thief to the clerk that was the only one in the store.

"You bet, mister! We got galactic maps, 3D maps, fold-outs, cut-outs, and maps to the stars." Said the annoying clerk. The thief knocked over all the other maps and took one of them.

"I forgot my wallet." Said the thief as he turned to one of the reptilian characters. "Could you.. Eh... 'take care' of it?" He asked the thug. They seized the clerk and threw his at the wall that hit a button that apparently deactivated the outside defenses.

"On my way." Said Ratchet to Fizzwidget.
