Last Day of School

I walked inside the school building. The bell rang meaning 2nd period was over . I walked into the attendance office to get my detention slip . I wasn't going to detention the next day either way.

"Mr.Horan?"

"Yes, Ms. Whitney?"

"This is your 3rd time being late this week, young man."

"It wont happen again , I promise you that Ms. Whitney"

"I hope it will not or you will indeed be suspended"

" I wont ever again in my life be suspended Ms. Whitney"

I walked quickly to get away from there as soon as possible. As i walked down to my locker I see Haley and Lacey , the twins.

"Hey cutie" , Lacey and Haley said

"Um, hey girls" , i said awkwardly

They have been trying to catch my attention since the 8th grade. They just don't give up. Honestly i don't know what they see in me.

"So you want to hang out with us sometime?" said Lacey

"Im sorry girls ,Id love to but i cant I'm busy ,football practice" i answered.

I know that was another of my lies but they just cant know.

Haley leans against me and whispers in my ear.

"Thats such a pity Niall we could of had so much fun, you know what i mean hot-stuff" said Haley

I stood quiet avoiding any other questions from them. I headed towards my locker to get my books . I saw Casey with her friend Bailey.

She was really gorgeous i must admit that .

I got my book and headed to the cafeteria. There i saw my boys Harry, Louis , and Liam waving at me. I headed towards their table.

"Where you been all morning?" said Harry.

"I told you i woke up late" i said kind of sounding annoyed.

"Sure thing bro, you woke up late" "Did your mommy not wake you up?" Liam said jokingly.

Liam and i were never close friends.

"Haha very funny Jackass,anyway whats up guys?" i said ,changing topics

"Were having football practice today after school , you coming ?" Louis said.

"Nahh bro, i cant i have things to do" i said with insecurity.

Lunch ended i skipped 4th and 5th period . It was English and Chemistry class. I wasn't going to go to 6th period ,but i wanted to see Casey for the very last time. I wanted to see her blue pale eyes just one last time. The bell rang and as usual i was late to class. There was an empty seat next to Casey , i decided to sit next to her.

I just realized how much i loved her smile.The little details about her made me wonder if i could ever have a chance, i doubt it right.

"Can i borrow a pencil?" I said

"Sure , hold up" she said quietly

She handed me over a pencil. Her soft pale skin touched my hand .

"Thanks" i said

I wrote a note saying

"I hope you forgive me for this

- Niall horan"

I slipped it in her book bag. The bell rang and i ditched 7th & 8th period i wasn't going to be here tomorrow or the next day .
