Brielle's POV:

I stood there. My heart stopped. I looked at her, to him, to what seemed to me as one hundred times. My lips quiver, a tear slips down my face. In that moment i'd never felt so hurt. I looked at him, the autumn wind blowing my hair slightly. He just looks down, ashamed. I look down too, sniffling. The girl walks over to me. "Who are you?" She asks, her eyes glistening. She's beautiful, nothing compared to me. "I'm Brielle..." I say shyly. She nods, knowing what's going on. "I'm Hailey, Peytons girlfriend." I burst in to tears and I suddenly become very embarrassed. "I'm his girlfriend too." Her eyes go from glistening to red. She jerks her head towards Peyton and walks over to him, slapping him on the face. She comes up to me and puts a smile on her face and hooks her arm with mine, walking us down the road.

"So how did you two meet?" Hailey asks. "Through our parents because of some stupid 4th of july party, how 'bout you?" Tension filling the air. "Look, I know this was a very weird way of meeting but I think we should be friends so we can get through this together." She looks down shyly. shit. I have to tell Shawn what's going on. "One second."

I walk out of my room and into the bathroom, my heart aching as I do so. I call Shawn's number waiting and I bite my lip. "Hello." I hear Shawn's soft and relaxing voice and I instantly feel more calm. "Hey..." My voice cracks and I hear Shawn sigh. "What's wrong?" He asks. "Peyton... H-he cheated on m-me." I sniffle. "I'll be right over." He ends the call signalling that he is on his way.

I hear the door opening. Hailey left because I lied and told her I didn't feel good. I hear Shawn running up the stairs and into my room and he comes into my room and grabs me and wraps me in a warm hug, almost hugging the life out of me. I put my head on his shoulder and I sob. "Shhhh... princess it's going to be ok." My stomach flips at the sound of him calling me princess. What the hell. "Lets lye down?" I nod and lie down on my bed instantly falling asleep in Shawns muscular arms.
