When the end of school bell rings, I find myself unable to move or leave. Sitting down on a nearby bench and I take a deep breath and tears start streaming down my cheeks. I break into a sob and lay my head in my hands when I hear footsteps. I look up immediately and my history teacher, Mr.Tanner is standing there looking down at me.
"Hey, are you alright?" He asks me and I wipe away my tears.
"Umm. Yeah, I'm fine." I reply, my voice cracking a little.
"Are you sure?" Mr.Tanner asks.
"Well. No. You remember my boyfriend, Carter?" I say and Mr.Tanner nods slowly, having taught him the previous year. "Well. He cheated on me. And I just found out." I say. As soon as I said that, Mr.Tanner came and sat beside me, placing a warm hand on my back and rubbing slow circles.
"Hey. You'll be alright, I know how you feel. I've never had much luck with women." He tells me and I chuckle.
"That doesn't make any sense. You're so good looking." I admit and Mr.Tanner laughs.
"Hey, I don't think you're supposed to say that to your teacher." He joking scolds me.
"I don't think you're supposed to be talking to your student like this." I retaliate, a smirk growing on his face.
"Touché. Now let's go. I'll buy you some pizza and drive you home. How's that sound?" Mr.Tanner asks me and I smile.
"I'd love that, but you don't have to do this for me." I say quietly and he stands up.
"No, but I want to. Come on." He says as he does, I take a moment to appreciate his fit body, suited in grey coloured jeans and a light blue button up, with leather vans.
"Well? Are we going?" He asks me and I'm snapped out of my trance. Damn, he's cute. I think as I stand up. I follow Mr.Tanner out to his car. It's nothing special, an old looking silver car. We climb in and drive for around 15 minutes before we pull up at a quaint little pizza shop and he holds the door open for me. I try to buy my own slices of pizza but he refuses. "Hey. Let me do this. I'm here to make you feel better." He says. Once we sit down and I graciously thank him, we indulge in pizza. I look up at once and he's already looking at me, causing us both to look down again and I feel my cheeks getting hot. "You know Emilie, you're beautiful." He says. I awkwardly brush my dark hair out of my eyes.
"Thanks, Mr.Tanner." I say and he chuckles.
"Please, call me Aaron while we're here." He tells me and I smile. Once pizza is done neither of us want to leave.
"So? What's the plan from here?" I ask and Mr.Ta- Aaron contemplates.
"I guess I'll drive you home. Are your parents home?" He asks.
"I just live with my mom. And she works very late most nights. You could keep me company if you'd like." I say with a wave of confidence and his face lights up.
"Well, would it make you feel better?" Aaron asks.
"Yeah, I think so." I reply.
"Well then it sounds like a plan. But Emilie, remember that if anybody finds out that we've been hanging out outside of school and it gets to the principal, we'll both be having a talking to." He explains to me and I nod. When we arrive at my house we sit down together on the couch and put the tv on, mainly and background noise.
"So, Aaron. I wanted to say thanks again for this. I am feeling better about the whole breakup, just from spending time with you." I explain and to my surprise, he wraps his arm around my shoulder and pulls me closer to him.
"I'm glad. That stupid boy doesn't know what he's missing out on. You're a lovely girl, Emilie." Aaron tells me.
"Thanks. I wish I could just date someone like you." I say. "Wait. I mean. Not like that." I attempt to go back on what I said but Aaron just laughs.
"Really? You want to date me?" He asks, jokingly.
"I said someone LIKE you Aaron, don't get too cocky there." I joke and he laughs.
"So you like my qualities you just wish I wasn't your teacher." He jabs back and I blush, knowing that it's true. "Wait... you're blushing. Is that true?" Aaron asks.
"Well. Not really, I like the fact you're a teacher. The authority is more attractive." I admit and he freezes, a smile growing across his cheeks.
"Wow, Emilie. I don't know what to say." Aaron replies.
"I'm sorry. I should've said anything. That was totally inappropriate." I say and look up at him. He's looking into my ice blue eyes with his dark chestnut ones. Aaron slides his hand through my hair and settles it on my cheek. He leans in and slowly brings my lips to his, ever so delicately.
"Does that change how you feel?" Aaron asks me. I respond by pulling his face back to mine, kissing again. He deepens the kiss, as I pull him on top of me. He includes his tongue here and there into the mix and the thought that this is my teacher makes me happier, and hornier. We are forced to stop suddenly when the door flies open and my mom walks in, complete with the briefcase. Aaron grabs a pillow from beside him and rests it on his lap and I smirk, knowing why.
"Emilie? Who's this?" My mom asks and I glance it him.
"This is Aaron, I met him at a pizza place I walked to after school." I respond, that being the best cover I could come up with. My mom walks over and shakes his hand.
"I think I'm going to go. See you at school." He says standing up, grabbing his leather jacket and messenger bag before leaving the house.
"Don't think we aren't going to have a talk about this tomorrow" my mother says and walks upstairs, leaving me in the dark by myself.A/N: Hey y'all/ whoever reads this/ if anyone reads this.
