"Kayano-chan... I don't think dressing up is necessary."
A bespectacled girl awkwardly said, looking at her attire from the reflection of the mirror. She sweatdrop at her friend and the clothes that were scattered on the floor.
Kayano, being the supportive one, took the initiative to buy cute clothes for Manami for her date with Karma.
Having known Manami since third year of middle school, Kayano knows her shy nature. Knowing the shy bespectacled science lover, she'll probably shook the thought of dressing up to please Karma.
Since she always clarifies the relationship between her and Karma as "Pranking Buddies"
And thus; "Karma-kun only sees me as a friend that helps him in his pranks."
-Is their kind of relationship.
And due to this, Kayano became more determined to make them end up together.
"Kanzaki-san! Which one is cuter? The pastel pink one or the purple one?" Still not contented to Manami's current attire, Kayano was having trouble deciding which one will suit Manami the best.
That's why she called Kanzaki over to Manami's apartment for back-up.
Kayano shouted Kanzaki's name even though she was only few meters away from the former "Class 3-E's Madonna"
Kayano lifted two dresses that are different in color but almost have the same style.
Kanzaki putted down the cup of tea she was drinking to answer Kayano's question.
"Well, the purple one will match Okuda-chan's eyes... But I think the other one will suit her better!" Kanzaki replied before paying her attention to her homework. Which she bought along with her because Kayano literally dragged her to Manami's place.
She wasn't complaining, she was happy to help Manami in these kinds of things. And it was a good thing that the subject for her homework was Science.
"You're right...going for a different style is better. But what do you think Karma-kun will wear on their date?" Kayano asked, purposely putting more stress on the word 'date'.
When the word traveled to Manami's ears, she felt her face heat up and noticed how her voice raised when she denied that it wasn't a date.
"I-i-it's NOT a DATE! K-karma-kun and I will just hang-out! Just like what normal f-friends do!"
Kayano snickered at how defensive Manami got by merely uttering the word date.
She slung her arm around the science lover's shoulder, leaning in to level Manami's ear just to whisper...some advice
"Let me tell you something Manami-chan~"
Whenever Kayano called the bespectacled girl by her first name. It means that she's being serious.
"When a boy compliments how you look, that means he's into you ~"
Manami didn't quite got the importance of Kayano's advice. Instead, she awkwardly shoved the girl's arm from her shoulder.
Saying she'll keep Kayano's advice in mind, Kanzaki giggled at Manami's reaction and replied to the pudding lover's question earlier.
"I think Karma-kun will wear something black."
