This is my second attempt at a story I began earlier this year but lost the inspiration to finish. If anyone out there has any ideas on what to add to the story I would greatly appreciate it.
To the outside world there doesn't seem to be anything that sets Kimberley Henderson apart but what they don't know is what she went through in her final year of high school at the hands of her longtime love, the star of the school track team, who presents one face to the teachers and the rest of the school, but another to Kimberley.
Her sister, Gabrielle, is an established journalist in Britain and as a post-graduation gift as well as a distraction requested by their parents, she takes Kimberley along to the London premiere of THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG where she unwittingly captures the attention of the film's secondary leading actor Richard Armitage aka dwarf king Thorin Oakenshield just by the fact that she seemed to be almost deliberately distancing herself from everyone and from everything else that's going on around her.
Because of what happened with Bryan, the aforementioned track team star, will Kimberley ever be able to tear down the wall that she put up to protect herself and her heart from ever being hurt again and give Richard the chance he so badly wants or will she end up spending the rest of her days alone with just her memories?
