For the seventh time in Harry's life, he was pushing a heavily packed trolley through Kings Cross station. He no longer had an owl cage blocking his view, just a large suitcase that seemed to be getting heavier as the minutes ticked by.

The nine and three quarters platform came into view, and Harry did his usual routine of running at the brick wall, and onto the platform. He thought back to the first time he ever did that, Misses Weasley telling him how. A small smile crept onto Harry's face as he remembered his first encounter with the Weasley famiy, feeling thankful that it wouldn't be the last.

Workers of the Hogwarts Express took Harry's luggage, and he pushed the trolley off to the side. The boy boarded the train, and tried to find either an empty compartment, or a familiar face.

Harry spotted the top of a red haired head in one of the compartments, and walked down the aisle towards it.

Inside the compartment sat Ron and George Weasley, and Hermione Granger. Ron had told Harry that George would be returning to Hogwarts not to be a student, but it was just somewhere for him to go to get his mind off things. He'd be heading back to the burrow in a few days. None of them noticed Harry at first until he cleared his throat, and grinned.

"Harry!" Hermione was the first to exclaim as she jumped up from her seat, and pulled Harry in for a hug. It was brief, but Harry couldn't help but feel a sort of comfort in the girl's hug.

"Nice to see you, Mate." Ron said next as he hugged his best friend, giving him a small pat on the back.

"Nice to see you too." Harry mumbled before Ron pulled away. George also went to hug Harry, but the older Weasley didn't say anything. He simply rested his chin on Harry's shoulder for a few seconds. "I hope you're alright." Harry muttered softly before pulling away. George smiled lightly as if to say, 'I'm still hurting, but I'll be alright.' Harry seemed to understand, and all four of them sat down.

"So how have you all been? How was your summers?" Harry asked, wanting to talk about something positive. Nothing had been positive in their lives for years, but peace had just recently been restored.

"Mine was good. It took a while for mum and dad to process everything, but I feel at home with them." Hermione explained, smiling.

"That's great, Hermione." Harry smiled back, before turning to look at Ron as the ginger started to speak.

"Dad's been working a lot of overtime so we can repair the burrow. It's almost done though, so we won't have to all sleep in the same room anymore." Ron chuckled softly. His house had always been small, but the Weasley's liked it cozy. Harry assumed they didn't like it that cozy.

George didn't say much, he'd just look out the window and occasionally pull a small smile at something that had been said. Ron had told Harry in one of his letters that he hasn't heard George laugh since before his twin died, which was completely understandable. The Weasley twins were the jokesters of Hogwarts, and nearly every situation. They were the dynamic duo, but now there was only one.

Harry could tell that the train was almost at Hogwarts by the way the trees were clumping together more, and the sun started setting. The compartment was silent of voices, the group of Gryffindors just looking out the window.

A thought came to the dark haired boy as he looked around the train. He couldn't get a decent view of anyone's face, and his eyebrows furrowed up in slight frustration.

"Do any of you happen to know if Malfoy will be coming back?" Harry asked, realizing after the fact that his friends probably thought he was off his rocker.

"I don't. Why do you care anyways?" Ron replied. Harry shrugged as he glanced at Hermione, who just had a confused look on her face.

"I'm just wondering." Harry answered.
