      "A body has been found!"

Monokuma's voice rang throughout the blue haired boy's room. With an irritated groan, Nagisa slid out of his chair and left his room. It has been a few weeks since this killing game has been going on, and Nagisa only found trust in one specific person.

      "Hm... This is odd.."

Nagisa shuffled his way to where the voice came from. It was Rantaro Amami, Nagisa's "Big Bro"! The green haired male was currently inspecting the body of a fellow classmate, a blond girl that wore music note themed hair pins. The younger boy stepped onto his tippy toes to see what Rantaro was examining.

"Well, Nagisa, what do you think happened?"

The green haired boy gave a soft smile to Nagisa as he showed him what had happened to the Ultimate Pianist. There was no clues that there was an external damage to her, but there was an unknown substance dribbling from her mouth. There was a dark brown stain on her right sleeve, and a puddle of vomit wasnt too far from her body. An unknown smell caused Nagisa to pinch his nose together and take a step back.

"I would say she's been poisoned, due to the color of her vomit and the smell coming off of her."

Rantaro said, getting up from where he was and wiping off the dirt from his pants. Before Nagisa could reply, Monokuma's voice played in the room, informing them that it was class trial time.

As soon as they were given the okay to start, everyone started to string together the pieces of evidence they found. Nagisa kept his ears opened for any inconsistencies before calling them out. When everything started to make sense, everyone shot their eyes over to Rantaro, everyone but Nagisa.

"Weren't you the last one to be seen with Kaede?"

Inquired Shuichi, his chin resting in his hand.

Rantaro was about to open his mouth to say something when Nagisa spoke.

"Are you demons assuming Big Bro Rantaro killed Kaede?"

His grip on the podium in front of him grew tighter as his head swirled with thoughts of the older male killing someone else for his own benefit.

"It would only make sense that he did kill her. We already went over all the evidence we had found, and they all lead to Rantaro being the killer. Unless we skipped over some evidence, I am absolutely positive that he, Rantaro Amami, killed Kaede Akamatsu."

Nagisa looked for Rantaro for clarification, only to receive a smile filled with sadness. He couldn't believe it! How could he have done this to himself?! Sadness and rage ran through the boy, and before he even knew it, tears were streaming out from his eyes.

Everyone had placed their vote for Rantaro. Even Nagisa.

"H... How could you have done this?!"

Nagisa yelled, his pace quicking as he walked over to the guilty Rantaro. He balled his tiny fists and started hitting the criminal on the chest. This didn't phase Rantaro, as he let it happened and sadly stroked the hair of the upset boy.

"You... You're just like the others! How could you do this?! How could you do this to me?!"

Nagisa screamed. The rest of the students gave him a sympathetic look as he stopped hitting the opposing boy and clung to his shirt, his form shaking.

"I don't want you to leave.... please... don't leave me..."

He looked up at Rantaro, meeting his green eyes with his teary ones. A mix of sadness swirled behind thw culprit's eyes and he gave one last hug to the crying boy.

      "Be good, okay?"

As if the world wanted him to suffer even more, Monokuma had dragged away Rantaro, leaving Nagisa unable to respond to Rantaro's final words.

"Wait, please! Don't take him! He's all I have! Please, Monokuma, please don't do this!"

Nagisa screamed, tears streaming faster as Rantaro's body shrank in the distance. Komaru had pulled the boy into a comforting hug from behind and held him in place, making the boy unable to run after him and Monokuma.

During the whole execution of Rantaro Amami, Nagisa wouldn't dare look at it, finding comfort in sitting in a corner, closing his eyes, and covering his ears so he couldn't hear what was happening to the only person he trusted. After the execution, Nagisa distanced himself from everyone, lashing out on anyone who would dare try to interact with him. At night, he would have continuous nightmares about Rantaro and wake up in tears, which would then lead to him crying himself to sleep.

Nothing would be okay for Nagisa Shingetsu ever again.
