There was once a young girl born with three eyes. Her name was Suzette. Her mother was terrified of her third eye, claiming it was different from the other two.
The eye was murky.
To keep herself and everyone else from being scared, the mother sewed a cloth to cover the third eye.
Suzette grew up not knowing what her third eye looked like. She followed her mother's orders and did not lift the cloth, but the curiosity ate at her. Why couldn't she look at her eye? Was it really that horrible?
Suzette when to school like a normal girl, but had to deal with the whispers about her. Everyone knew she was born with a third eye, and it became the root of everyone's teasing.
One day Suzette asked if she could go to the restroom. She just had to know what was under that cloth.
When she made sure she was alone, Suzette carefully peeled the cloth away from her eye. She noticed dried blood on the inside of the cloth.
The eye socket was empty.
