Shakira in Wonderland

Chapter Three

Shakira kept walking in the duke's garden. Its a pretty huge place so its not surprising if Shakira get's lost.

"Okay.... So where am i again? oh yeah still in the duke's garden. What an awful huge garden is this. So how can i get back to my mother." Shakira talk to herself. Then Shakira saw the entrace to the garden maze.

"Wow there's a maze. This is amazing." Shakira said running inside. Shakira just followed her instincts through out the maze and guess where her instincts lead her....... A dead end. Yeah a wall.

"Oops now i really want to go back to my mom." Shakira said turning back but stop when she realized that she was lost inside the maze.

"How can i get out if i cant see where im going. I need to go higher." Shakira thought then an idea was formed in her head.

She take off her sneakers and started climbing the wall. Shakira had a pretty hard time climbing it because of her dress.

"Stupid gown giving me a hard time." Shakira said as she rip her dress to move comfortably.

When Shakira climb the wall successfully a voice surprised her that made her fall.

"My lady, what are you doing there- Woah got ya." the voice said and caught the falling Shakira.

"What are you doing up the wall, my lady." the guy said as he gently drop Shakira.

"I was trying to find a way out." Shakira said checking if she have any bruise or scratch or else her mother will give her an hour of speech of how careless she is.

"You should have open the wall then." the guy said.

"The wall?" Shakira ask.

"Yup. The wall you climb is a door. its the exit to the maze. Im amaze that you found the door. The myth said that Lady Alice is the only one that could found the exit." the guy said.

"Lady Alice?" Shakira ask.

"Do you know Alice in Wonderland? The Alice in that story was the ancestor of the duke. This is her house also." the guy said

"Really Wow. By the way can i ask your name?" Shakira said looking at the guy.

"Oh my name is Adam Levine, What is yours?" Adam ask

"Oh my name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll." Shakira said then bowing a little bit to show respect.

"Oh thats too long, can i call you Shakira, Lady Shakira? Adam ask

"Of course you can." Shakira smiled at him. Then at that moment Shakira's mother walk into the scene.

"Thank heavens i found you Shakira. What in the world happen to your dress?!" Shakira's mother ask her.

"I-Uhm....." Shakira fumbled thinking of a good excuse.

"She trip on her gown thats why it has a rip on in. I let her borrow my pants and sneakers so she could walk comfortably." Adam said winking at Shakira.

"Oh Thank you Duke Adam." Mrs.Mebarak said.

"You know her mother?" Shakira ask her mom.

"Yes my dear. He is a duke." Mrs.Mebarak said. Just then Mrs.Pique approach them.

"What on earth happened to you my dear? Come to the house we'll change your clothes." Mrs.Pique said dragging Shakira towards the mansion.

Shakira just followed the duke's wife into their mansion. Unlike Shakira's mother, shakira felt kinda scared with Mrs.Pique. She have that presence that will tame a tiger.

"Pick your clothes here my dear." Mrs Pique said opening the huge closet.

"Can i have that blue dress?" Shakira said pointing at the blue dress. It reminds her of Alice's dress in her dreams.

"Oh you like Lady Alice's dress. Yes you can have it." Mrs.Pique said giving her the dress.

"Lady Alice? You mean the real Alice in Wonderland." Shakira ask her while changing her clothes.

"Yes the real Alice. She's my grandmother and this is her house." Mrs. Pique said then grab Shakira's hands.

"Where are we going Duchess?" Shakira ask as they walk in the garden.

"I want you to meet your fiancé. My son, Gerard." The duchess said.

"Fiancé?" Shakira ask completely confuse.

"Didnt your mother told you? This is your engagement party." the duchess said. They continued walking then Shakira noyice something move from the bushes.

"Did you see that, Duchess?" Shakira said. She was sure she saw a white rabbit.

"See what my dear? the duchess said looking at her. Then something came out of the bushes and run away.

"The white rabbit with a waistcoat." Shakira said sure about what she saw.

"Did you eat breakfast my dear?" the duchess ask. Shakira just shook her head.

"Maybe your just hungry my dear. Wait ill introduce you to my son." the duchess said.

"Gerard i want you to meet Shakira." the duchess said calling a tall handsome guy.

"She look alot like Grandma Alice' s playmate when grandma is young and they have the same name. You remind me of Lady Shakirâ." Gerard said smiling at her.

"Lady Shakirâ?" Shakira ask confuse.

"The one in the myth." Gerard said grabbing her hand and taking her to the center of the garden.

"Sorry i dont really read myths and stuff like that." Shakira said then Gerard kneeled down and hold Shakira's hands.

"Will you marry me?" Gerard ask that caught the attention of all the people in the place.

"What-  but.. we just met and i dont know you that well." Shakira said completely embarassed.

"You can know me more if you take this opportunity. Will you marry me?" Gerard ask her again.

"Uhmm-..... I" Shakira said looking around she saw her mother nodding and the duchess smiling she look around and something more caught her attention. The white rabbit in a waistcoat shaking his head and listening to his clock and look then look directly at Shakira and mouthed the words 'Tic Toc Tic Toc. Your gonna be late' then ran away.

"Im really sorry but..... I need some time. I have to go." Shakira said then ran after the white rabbit.
