Chapter 3

Your POV

"Oh. Hello there!" I greet her. She smiled. It was beautiful smile.

"Hey there kid. My name's Chara." She tells me.

"That's a cool name!" I tell her.

"You think so?" She asked.

"You bet!" I reply. She giggled.

"Well, what's yours?" She asked me.

"The name's Y/N." I say.

"That's a nice name as well!" She compliments.

"Thanks! I appreciate it!" I tell her with a smile on my face. She blushed a bit but it quickly went away. What's that about? I shrug. I'm sure it's nothing.

"Heh. I think I'm startin, to like ya kid." She says.

"The feeling is mutual! And I love making new friends!" I exclaim. She chuckles.

"You're alright Y/N." She said. I smile.

"Yahoo!" I jumped up and punch my fist in the air.

Chara POV

He's so.... so... positive! I've seen kids with a bit of optimism but not this much! That smile seems... hopeful. And give hope to everyone else. And it makes him even cuter than he already is- ok Chara, let's not get ahead of ourselves! He could be just playing an act... but that smile is so genuine. I have faith in this kid!

"Heh. It's cool to see another human around!" I tell him. He nods.

"Yeah, same! Wait a minute... seven children fell and DIED right?" He asks. I nod.

"Correcto-mundo!" I answer.

"So wait a minute... there would be eight including you that fell." He says.

"Actually nine, including you that fell." I correct him. He snickers.

"Right back at me eh?" He asked. He giggled.

"Yup!" She responds. "And to answer the question I'm assuming you're going to ask, you could I'm a special case." I explain to Y/N.

"That sounds about right! Right?" He says.I chuckled again.

"Yeah, you are right!" I assure him.

"Good, good!" He says.

"Hey. I've been waging a war with my little brother Asriel." I tell him.

"War?" I ask.

"Yeah. It's his favorite game and it was his turn." I answer.

"Well it sure does sound fun." I say.

"Luckily for you, you can join in!" I said.

"Really!?" He asks excited.

"Mhm! You can be my partner! C'mon, I'm sure you'll be great!" She says.

"Won't that be a little unfair to him?" I asked.

"Nah. Or at least he doesn't mind. He says it doesn't matter how many he has to take on. He'll beat him all! Erm... that's at least what he says." I tell him

"Heh. Sure I'll join ya!" He tells me.

"Great! Quick! Behind that tacky lamp!" I point to the lamp. He nods and quickly goes behind that lamp. Even though I'll miss seeing his pretty face I DO have to set an amazing entrance for Rei.

"Chara!" A voice shouts at. Speak of the devil. Or should I say God of Hyperdeath. Rei walks towards me. "Hah! I've caught you human!" He exclaims.

"Tch. You've cornered me again. You're getting much more skillful Rei." I compliment.

"Why thank you- Chara! I've told you not to call me that anymore!" He says.

"Oops. Slipped my mind." I lie.

"Mhm..." He says. I guess he can tell that I'm full of it. "Hey, you are alone out here right?" He asks.

"I was. However not anymore." I tell him.

Your POV

I guess that was my cue to step out. But I want to make a good entrance. But before I could think, the aura blade appeared out of my arm this time and slashed the lamp making a loud sound and blowing my cover. Chara and Asriel looked over.

"Uhhhhh... hi!" I greet. Luckily the blade went back in my body before they saw it. What's with this thing? Did it want me to make a flashy entrance? No way it has a mind of it's own!

"Woah!" The goat yelped and jumped back. Chara seemed impressed.

"Wow kid. You really do know how to make a flashy entrance!" She says.

"Heh. Thanks!" I say.

"Hmmmm... two humans or not! It won't matter against the great Asriel!" He says.

"Oh yeah? Well the great Asriel is no match for the awesome Y/N!" I say as I play along.

"We'll just have to see about that!" He says. He starts throwing stars at me! I turn my body to dodged them. "Hah!" He yells as he throws a gigantic one! It comes into contact with me but... I caught it! "No way!" He yelled in astonishment. I threw it right back at him! Or over him at the least. Chara seemed to still have that impressed expression on her face. She even looked a little surprised.

"Hehe. Don't underestimate me just because I'm human!" I say confidently.

"Tch." He throws more starts. I step side to side dodging each of them.

"Bada bing bada boom." I taunt. Chara laughed. Asriel growled.

"Now for my special attack!" He says. Suddenly he had vanished! I looked around and couldn't find him until Chara yelled: "Y/N behind you!" And at that moment I felt something stick out of my back! I look behind to see the dark purple, you know what? I'm just gonna call it black! The BLACK blade launched out of my black piercing the star that was coming right behind me. Huh. It must've acted as my reflexes.

"WHAT?! No one has EVER countered the light speed star attack!" Asriel exclaims.

"Damn- I mean dang, you're good kid." She say.

Just what the hell is this power? They both walk up to me.

"That was ultra super Y/N!" Asriel complimented.

"Definitely!" Chara adds. I rub the back of my head.

"Thanks guys!" I say.
