Topic 1: Holidays

So right now I'm getting two days off school to go camping at a Caravan Park so I thought this would be applicable.

Where Im going there is a massive beach and channel were little kids can play in as well as a skate park and shop with lollies and ice cream. Its practically like a dream place, well to me anyhow!

I normally love holidays and with the description of the place I'm going to above you would think I'm excited. The thing is I have things to do. I have an english assignment to do, maths test to study for, resume to put together, my other book I need to update, NAPLAN to study for, Netball i'm missing out on and ton of other things I need to do. You get the picture. Oh and you guys aren't gonna get this update until after my trip, You see my problem??

And now I cant do any of that for 4 days as well as I'm missing out on school, which because I'm completely abnormal, I love school, I feel like I'm missing out on heaps of things that are happening. So holidays are slightly annoying in aspect.

Although I say all that, these trips also let me get away from everything that is happening (see above list) and I can relax without worrying about anything (by relaxing I mean skateboarding and surfing, YEAH:))

So well holidays to me are very conflicted. One half of me is saying, "OH MY GOD! Yes finally a break!Oh we get to go surfing and skateboarding and eat ice cream and surf and swim and surf and go out for dinner and surf!

Not to mention the fun you get to have with (people who camp with us) and you get to see the cute boys instead of the stupid ones in my town(JKS I swear!!) and you'll probably see your cousins as well and swim in the river and fish and catch yabbies!!EEEK!!"

Then the other half of me says

"Oh no HOLIDAYS?! REALLY?! We have so much to do like that assignment and that test and that netball game, oh and you wanted that job well now we cant theres no hope now that there is this in the way?!!Ugh oh and school your gonna miss out on so much, there will be like 3 new kids arrive, 6 fights, 5 breakups, 3 new relationships, Tupac will come back and Beyonce will perform in the Quad!!! Oh and your friends will have so much fun without you and you don't get to see your boyfriend either!!"

So yeah Holidays are confusing for me.
