The Story Of Scarlet May Malfoy

New Years

Scarlet's p.o.v 

New Years was basically the same as Christmas. Lots of boring party's with mother and father's friends and little to no family time. One good thing was that father had shown Draco off already to everyone at Christmas so, he could hang out with me. We played exploding snap and wizard's chess and just generally relaxed and talked all day.

"Did you know that Astrid Harper is a muggleborn" I said to Draco shortly after lunch. "No I didn't know. Why does it matter? I thought you were against father's pureblood ways." Draco asked. "I am I'm just seeing if you are. And it seems like you are" I replied. "Sort of. I'm still teasing the Weasleys and Potter" he said. I sighed. "I don't see why you feel the need to do that but at least you're making some progress" I said.

That evening, I decided to take a walk around our house. It may seem strange to walk around your own house but it's so big that there is still bits I haven't been in yet. I was walking down another identical corridor, when I saw a room with the door slightly open. When I entered the room all I could see was an old cabinet. I was looking around the room when I saw Draco appear in front of me. He then doubled over in pain and dropped dead on the ground. Then my mother appeared and did the same followed by my father, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred and George. I sunk to the floor crying uncontrollably before Draco ran in, pointed his wand at the dying people in front of us and shouted "Riddiculus!". The bodies then jumped up and began to tap dance back into the cabinet as Draco comforted me on the ground. He then locked the cabinet and helped me back to my room.

"What was that?" I asked shakily as I sat on my bed cuddled into Draco's side. "That was a boggart" he replied. "They are shape shifters that show your worst fear. Yours was seeing the people you care for in pain and then dead." Draco explained. "The only way to get rid of them is to use the spell I did. It makes the boggart do something funny to stop it being scary" He continued. "I never want to see one again, that was horrible" I said hugging his side tighter. "Well you know how to get rid of one now. We don't learn in school till third year" Draco said. "Thank you for getting rid of it" I said. "What are twins for?" Draco replied. "I could feel you were upset and scared through the twin bond so I guessed you would have managed to wander into one of the few rooms here that has a boggart in it" he added. "The door was open so I decided to go in" I said defensively. "At least your okay now." He said.

He kissed my forehead and started to leave my room. "Good night twinny" he said. "Good night twinny" I reply. I then get changed into pyjamas and pick up Midnight and Moonlight. They cuddled into my side as I fell asleep hoping that I never have to run into a boggart ever again and wondering what Draco's biggest fear is.
