Hello. Of course my name is sonic the hedgehog and I am the most popular person in mobious high. And my best friends are Tails, Knuckles, Silver, Blaze, Rouge, Cream, and my girlfriend Amy. We were all told stories about vampires that mark other mobians and they turn into vampires. And things like that are true too. They happen everyday whether we notice it or not. So everyone in the town of Evelyn is against vampires. Me personally, I don’t want to be around any, and I watch my back so I don’t become one.

After 2nd period class the gang and I go to lunch and sit at our table laughing and joking. I felt weird, like I was being stared at. I turned my head to where I thought it was coming from and there is some black hedgehog with blue tattoo markings, black leather coat, blue skinny jeans, also looking around his mid thirties. “Hey sonic, are you alright?”  Tails’ voice soon broke my concentration and brought me back to reality. I shook my head mentally and looked at him smiling. “Yeah just tired, ya’know.” He grinned and went back to talking. I was silent the rest of lunch.

School was over and I saw that same weird hedgehog staring at me from afar under a tree in the shade. I began to walk over there as if I had no control over my body and before I knew it I was only a few feet away from him. My eyes widened as I realized who he was. He was a vampire!  “Sonic the hedgehog, you have been chosen to be marked!” And before I knew it he pointed his finger at me and everything went black.

I woke up some time later and looked around. Nothing changed. Then a sharp headache stabbed me strait through my head. I shook it off mentally and got up and walked away from that tree. I was so confused what had just happened, and then something clicked. I ran with my super speed into the school and into the boy’s bathroom, looking into the bathroom mirror. I gasped and saw a crescent moon upon my forehead. I began to get soap and water and scrubbed it hoping that this was just a prank, but there wasn’t even a smudge. I shook my head and backed away. I couldn’t believe it. I was marked!

I ran out of the school and just as I got outside I stopped, covering my eyes. Was the sun always this bright? Why is my headache getting worse? Am I coming down with something? I just kept on running to my house, hoping that my mom wouldn’t freak out as much as I am expecting her to.
